El Mariachi Mexican Grill 2 — Restaurant in Kendallville

Long wait to get seated. Probably 6 other people there to eat. Chips and salsa were not great. (Hard to do i feel like) finished the chips and salsa long before our food arrived, and i cant think of any other time that has ever happened. So, it took a WHILE. In that time we watched 3 families get the wrong order. Then we received ours finally, and it was incorrect as well. Our table server never checked our drinks or chips and salsa. The staff member we reported the incorrect order to, argued with my husband over it and never came to the table to actually check and see if it was correct. So i had to take the plate up to the front so she could take the time to actually look at the complaint. She apologized after seeing it and sent it back right away. But i couldn't believe she tried telling him he was wrong without even coming the 10 feet to check the order. Then, it took another long while to receive my correct order. By that time i was over it and we had more arrangements to get to. Paid full price and left. Overall, bad experience. If they make it 6 more months, hire more/new staff, maybe we will try it again, tho-i doubt it bc the food wasnt that great either....

We haven't been here since December of 2022. It wasn't busy but service took forever, food was luke warm at best, and our card information was stolen. $3,000 worth of gift cards and Casey's gas station purchases. Luckily we have protection, but it took some time to get our money back and right before Christmas put us through a rough time. After we file a police report we called to inform the restaurant to let them know and the manager asked us to.send hima picture of our card info. Lol Are you kidding!!! We won't be back, it unfortunate because the restaurant in Albion was one of our favorite frequently...

People are friendly, but most of the staff was on their phones. A customer had a dog in her bag and when she went to pay she took it out. The staff was ok with that! I am opposed to bringing in pets! It was not a service dog! Being so new, the place is still clean, but with that kind of staff it will become dirty , nastey in no time. Food was ok, but way too much! We got 2 meals for the price of one. Not a place we will be running back to. The color flags is a bit tackey. The cart where they put the dirty dishes is in an inappropriate place. I didn't want to see that so close...
