Super Chopsticks Chinese — Restaurant in Kendallville

Went here today at lunch, place was empty. Ordered Gen. Tsao, LoMein noodles and broccoli for lunch. Lunch special noodles ipo rice. Get back and there is no soup which clearly comes w/ the lunch special, and i was told that Gen Tsao comes with the broccoli. GREAT :-) $17.00 later i have a cup of noodles and a handful of chicken. 1 piece of broccoli. So i called and apparently if you dont tell them how many pieces of broccoli u want, you get 1?!? WHAT?? No soup?? when you go out to dinner, & the meal comes with soup, the waitress normally will ask what kind of soup do you want w/ your meal... well at this "Super" chopsticks if you dont tell them what kind, that means you dont want any again i have to ask WHAT? i have given this place 4 chances and every time they have failed. Last time, they gave us the soup, however the lid - not sealed at all - soup all over the car and my lap. LOOKING FOR A GOOD CHINESE PLACE IN KENDALLVILLE... PLEASE HELP. ...

This is the worst Chinese I've ever eaten, and I've seen some real gross stuff at certain buffets in the area. The general tso's was all clumped together and sticky but also dry. Wrong seasonings on it, underdone inside the clump. Rice had zero flavor and was undercooked. Never thought I'd come across fake shrimp, but that was not real shrimp in the rice. I don't know what that was, but it was not seafood. The chicken in the fried rice was not seasoned and also felt oddly fake. The crab rangoon was basically empty and tasted OLD, and over fried. Egg drop soup was not seasoned at all. The only thing that was okay was the fried pot stickers, but the sauce was all wrong, thick and sweet where it's supposed to be thin and savory. I told my husband this place wasn't very good the last time I had it a few years ago, and was really hoping it had gotten better but it's even worse than I remembered. General Tsao was good but the restaurant is absolutely filthy. Long-time settled dust covering the fans and decorations. Chairs are ripped and taped up, AC system apparently doesn't work (thank god, look at how disgusting the vents are) so the front door is open and the cottonwood is drifting right into the restaurant everywhere. Kids didn't care for the steamed dumplings and they got my order wrong, too. Won't be back over sanitation alone.

They don't take card and they don't repair anything. They don't spend a single cent into anything that doesn't directly drive profit. You can bet they don't spend any money on cleaning that kitchen or properly...
