Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Kenedy

Only drive thru was open. Dining room was closed. Went by at 7:30 pm. Slow as molasses. At 8:16 pm we finally were served at the drive through. Most menu items are not available, such as the biscuits, Mac and cheese, etc.

They said we could have an extra side because they were out of biscuits, yet, any side we asked for they didn’t have. Finally, they said they had coleslaw—the only side they had available.

Additionally, while ordering the lady was talking super fast, cutting me off at every turn. For example, I said plainly and clearly, I want the combo, leg and thigh” she said “what’s your side?” I said, “ Mac…” couldn’t finish when she interrupted with “do you want white or dark meat?” I already had told her I wanted a leg and thigh, so I repeated it, and before I could finish telling her she asked what side I wanted. I said “Mac…” she interrupted before I finished, and said, “we don’t have it”, I said, “I will have…” interruption again, before I could say what it was I wanted again, with “we don’t have it”. I finally asked what they had. So disappointed since Churches is known for their biscuits. Sad to have a combo with no biscuit :(

Worse Church's I've ever been to! Had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. No other people in front of us. The girl waiting on 7s had zero knowledge of how to run register, so she refused to let us order okra or anything else. Even though I told her I knew I could for an uncharged. She said I was only allowed to have fries, mashed potatoes or Cole slaw. She charged extra for gravy when we ordered tenders. She said that they didn't come with sauces or gravy and you need to pay for them. Once we finally got the food, 2 meals were missing the mashed potatoes. Had to go back up there and ask for them. Terrible experience. Food was old. Never...

Went through the drive through, service was fast at the window. The young girl with the nose ring, asked me to pull around and they would bring the chicken when she brought the order out I asked her if the chicken tenders came with dipping sauce are gravy. She responded with there should be gravy in there. Wasn’t her job to check the order before she brought it to me? When I got home with the order, the tenders was missing the mashed potatoes. The tenders were hard and very little meat to it. No straws for drinks no napkins no plastic spoon for my mashed potatoes that came...
