Mesquite Wood Steak House — Restaurant in Kenedy

(Do not eat here ) It's over priced Food🔊.. This place Charge my daughter $40 for one meal. This place has bad and Rude service From the waitresses and Staff. We never got one refills..(At all)For the Hole Table. There food is Priced so High..We asked for Coffee $3 ☕️ it was cold and instant .. We ate 4 meals.. They charged us $176. And This was just for Hamburgers...Wow.. Over Priced 📢 Hey restaurant owner, not everyone is rich like you! Wait that's not all... For a group of 10 or more people they charge 10% tip with out telling use, but on the recipe they charge 18%.. Twice, Then Expected us to pay a tip too.. They had a small paper sign about the 10%Tip charge where you pay. Hello!!! No one can see it.. Also the girl in the Front desk didn't even know what she was doing..And the manager was not there the whole time. She (The Manager) Show up the last minute. After we were charged all wrong.. and was like , Whatever.. She look like she was 20.. This place suck!!! DON'T EAT AT THIS PLACE.. THEY NEED TO...

Food was good. Not sure it's worth the"steakhouse price/moniker" but definitely good. On par with Texas Roadhouse or Outback but less overall options. They have a wider selection of meat to include Quail.

The service was non-existent. Actually is was terrible when available but mostly non existent. There was 1 person in the restaurant prior to us. We sat down and didn't see a server until 3 more people showed up and they ordered before us. Then we were served.

Food came out at different times and the appetizer came out with my meal. 1 steak, 1 burger and fried mushrooms. Steak was cold, burger was greasy and fell apart when lifted. Mushrooms were good though.

Overall, I'd go back to try different meat but that's where a revisit would end. With the previous reviews we were excited. But money would have been better spent...

I think we have been here 3-4 times already. I'm a creature of habit and always stick to the same meal. So I've decided to try something new each and every visit we have made. So far, food has been delicious 😋 and they have great wait staff, super clean, and everyone is super friendly 👌 My husband usually gets salmon, which looks delicious, and Im sure it is because he devours it. We ALWAYS get the fried mushrooms they are the best! I've tried the chicken sandwich, chicken strips, and chicken fried steak so far, and all of it has been very delicious and satisfying 😌 lastly as stuffed as we are we always ask for a slice of pecan pie 🥧but of course it's to go. We will share it later at night 🌙 when the sweet tooth monster arrives. I definitely encourage you to try this...
