Food, setting, and service was amazing! Though I did not get any seafood and got chicken tenders instead, it was still good...oh you're still mad that I didn't get any seafood... well you know those days when you just arent in the mood for some succulent lobster or enormous shrimp.. you know what I mean. Anyway I did try some of the fried clams and crab cake from some of my family and it was good. Although the crab cake was a little too perfect. It was a perfect circle and it had the same crispiness all the way around. Seems like a sus fish stick if you ask me. Anyway the onion rings we also got was perfectly oniony as usual. Now let's talk about the setting. Usually when you eat seafood right next to the bay you get the seaweed fart smell and it just soils the food around you, but oh great heavens...this was like unlocking world 7 in New Super Mario Bros on the DS....you just can't find anything like it. Peers you could walk on, open, shaded outdoor feasting areas, unique boats and houses, and the overlooking islands in the distance. I know what you're thinking....those islands are just there....they don't mean anything to me. Ooooh, you are soo wrong! There was a grid of the history, names, and the location of each of the islands you were looking at, right on this post. Thus your brain juices aren't the only things hungry. And lastly, lets talk about the service. Now when I went into the building about to order, I noticed these very caring, hardworking, and lovely ladies weighing lobsters, taking orders, and making their masterpieces which would be delivered to thy guests. It seemed that with such grace that these ladies would have each meal ready in about 15-20 minutes. But, my golly jeepers...When they had taken our oders we explored the peer and just had a fantastic time looking around. 5 minutes later our meal was ready. Like angels coming down from heaven, tiptoeing down the golden stairs, I saw my brothers lobster sparkle like a shooting star. And my chicken tenders waiting to devoured with just one bite. Thanks for reading this and I hope you have/had a...

Read moreGreat inconspicuous-feeling spot in Cape Porpoise to grab some simple, quick but fresh seafood meals, snacks, and shareable plates. Yummy and filling chowder by the cup or bowl for small prices. I asked for their most popular or best recommendation, which was their fish and chips plate, where I added a chowder, all to share with my partner. It was nice and filling, not too salty and just perfectly fried for crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Came with tartar. Drinks are self-serve. Best spot eat semi-outdoors (there was a tent over the picnic tables) with a view on the cove, possibility to walk on the lobster fishing docks and see the lighthouse on Goat Island in...
