First and foremost this is a seafood market. Most people who come here take away their purchases. That said, there are three picnic tables located on the water in a picturesque setting. You order first and then relax while they steam your clams or lobsters. They also have corn on the cob to steam. The chowder which is available from a crock in the corner is excellent and something you can enjoy while they are steaming your dinner. I was really excited to try this place... super disappointed. We paid cash for 2 lobster rolls + 2 chowders. $77?? When we asked what the extra charges were it was apparently gratuities. We felt really awkward about asking to take some of that off so we did not. Which I bet they count on a lot of people doing the same. No paper receipt. The butter lobster rolls were not toasted or even warm? I can get the same thing elsewhere for less and it will be served better. This place should be great but instead it’s a total scam. Market sashimi but the fish wasn’t cut or cleaned well, and worse completely making up the bill as they go-overcharged us by $45, didn’t provide an itemized receipt and then when they did it still didn’t match the amount they’d charged on my card! Hide multiple charges under ‘tax’, refuse to speak to you about what’s going on, and completely rude and unhelpful when we tried to get the bill fixed.
