Yesterday at Chcik Fil a was a bad experience. However, today top the charts. Yesterday, I placed an order in drive through for lunch menu items. I was told it will take 10 minutes. I explained I understand and would like to wait. I had 4 cars in front of me. It took about 8 minutes to get to the window. I paid and was asked to move up. It was also explained to me that it will take another couple minutes. So I did so. I waited another 10 minutes in my car. And decided to park and come in. I was told by the manager that it would be another 20 minutes. The waited 30 minutes for some food. Mind you that was not the worst. Today was the worst. I decided because it took so long in the Drive through to get my food I would order through the App. When I came inside, the young lady told me she could not find my order. So I went back to my car to make sure the location I select was correct. It was. So she got the same manager that explained to me the other day that after waiting 18 minutes, I would have to wait another 20 minutes for my food yesterday. She asked for my phone and asked could she just cancel the order and replace it and it would take another 20 minutes. I waited 20 minutes after placing order through the app before arriving. So I explained to the manage absolutely not. Finally, located the order. Then told me it would take another 20 minutes. Then with a smirk on her face she explained its an issue with the App. That took me to another level. Chastain Chick Fil A,600 Chestain Meadows, Kennesaw, 30144, the APP, the Manager and the Corporation is the same company to me the customer. So Kurt, the regional manager, took over the conversation. The APP orders do not began until the person arrives at the store. Although the App says your order will take 15 minutes before it is ready. I explained that him and I would have not had to have a conversation until the manager decided she would not apologize, attempted to cancel order and replace all with the condescending smirk on her face. Kurt immediately cut me off and wanted to know what can be done now. I shut down. finally after talking to Kurt I had to wait another 20 minutes. I did. Once he came with my food. I wanted by a coffee. However, I had the app and thought because my credit card was saved to the app I could just also pay for a cup of call as well. That did not happen. Scanned the App. It said no funds. I explained to Kurt. I did not know how to work the App. I had just downloaded to speed the process up. He just stood there and NEVER told me how to add my payment from the app. My problem with the Manger and Regional manager, Kurt, NO one offer a solution. Solutions on most effectively place order and not wait 30 to 45 minutes, take ownership for the APP or assisted with help me understand how to down load the money for the coffee into the APP. So to put the ICING on the CAKE, I asked Kurt, for the managers name. He ask why and explained that it was not need to complete a review because he would be the one handling it. I am sure my review will be deleted so I am going to copy and put on my other platforms especially the ones that do not allow you to delete. I just wanted to say. I order the same thing for the Chick Fil A on Hwy 92 and Barrett. It takes 10 minutes. 😭 I still feel that Chick Fil A is a great organization and I just received very poor service. Can someone tell me how I can order a Spicy Chicken Sandwich in 10 minutes during breakfast from this location???? I am open...
Read moreThe service at Chick-fil-A is usually great but on this visit I have to say that I had such poor service that I am very close to giving it a 1.
The lines are always long at the drive-thru but having an employee taking orders while you wait in line makes things feel like they are going a little faster.
The problem yesterday happened at the pickup window. I got there, the girl at the window identified me and my order correctly but when I handed her a $20 bill to pay..... I have no idea what the problem was because suddenly she couldn't figure out which order was mine or how much I owed. The information seemingly disappeared from her screen. She just kept staring at the screen in front of her and then looking at the orders. Two other employees came and looked at it with her and then walked away. I had been sitting at the window for probably 8-10 minutes when suddenly a manager jogged over to her and asked what was happening. I had to tell them again what I had ordered and that I had paid with $20 bill. The manager and this poor girl stood there trying to figure something, I have no idea what, out. By now I had been waiting almost 20 minutes at the window. I'm sure the drivers behind me were not happy. Finally, I was handed my order and given my change.
There was no apology for whatever happened, no explanation. Because NY order had been sitting so long inside the window (I could see it right in front of me) it was warm, not hot. At all.
The real shock for me was that there was no offer to get a fresh sandwich and nuggets, there was no offer of a discount then or to use in the future and, again, not even a "sorry for the wait". None of that fit with the excellent service that I have had at every other Chick-fil-A that I have been too.
The only redeeming factor in all of this was that the young lady taking orders in the line asked if I would like a pup cup when she saw that my dog was with me. At least my dog was happy (overjoyed) when we finally were...
Read moreLet's be honest. Chick-fil-A is synonymous with chicken. But amidst the crispy, golden-brown perfection, a hidden gem awaits: their salads. And I'm here to tell you, these aren't your average, limp lettuce affairs.
From the moment the vibrant, generously portioned salad arrives, it's clear this is a different breed of greens. The base is a crisp, refreshing blend—not a hint of wilt in sight. Then comes the orchestration of toppings.
Take, for instance, the Spicy Southwest Salad. Grilled, spicy chicken, juicy and flavorful, takes center stage, accompanied by a chorus of roasted corn, black beans, and crunchy tortilla strips. But the true virtuoso? The creamy, tangy chili-lime dressing that ties it all together in a harmonious explosion of taste.
Or consider the Market Salad. This is a lighter, brighter composition, featuring grilled chicken, crumbled blue cheese, and a medley of fresh fruit. The strawberries are always perfectly ripe, the blueberries bursting with sweetness, and the apples offering a satisfying crunch. It's like a farmers' market in a bowl, a celebration of seasonal bounty. The light Italian dressing is the perfect complement, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them.
And let's not forget the customizable nature of these masterpieces. Want to add some extra protein? Throw on some nuggets! Craving more crunch? Extra tortilla strips are always a yes.
These salads aren't just a side dish; they're a destination. They're a testament to Chick-fil-A's commitment to quality, even beyond their iconic chicken. They're a satisfying, flavorful, and dare I say, healthy option that will leave you feeling energized and nourished.
So, the next time you find yourself at the hallowed gates of Chick-fil-A, don't overlook the salad menu. You might just discover your new favorite culinary...
