I ordered placed an order for delivery on 06/25/2019 to a business on 06/19/2019 from this location. Surprisingly, I needed to change the entire order and I found this out around 8 AM when I got to work. I called four times and no one ever picked it up, it was just the same menu going in circles. Pressing #1 for cafe to speak to someone to cancel the order before it was too late. Even though the delivery wasn't set till 11:15, It was 9:30 something when I tried again and finally got a hold of someone at the cafe. Note: the three emails I received about this order stated that the order could be canceled ONE hour PRIOR to delivery. I spoke to AMANDA and told her I needed to cancel an order, she decides to make up a lie and tell me that catering orders should be canceled FOUR hours prior to delivery. Ma'am it would've been impossible for me to do that, especially when no one picked up when I called at 8:00 AM, but whatever. I told her that was funny because I ordered it under delivery for four people not catering for 20, and I told her this as I was holding the order confirmation in my left hand. I guess she realized she had been caught in her own lie because once I told her the emails told me I had an hour prior to delivery to cancel, all she said was, "OK I'll cancel it" and HUNG UP THE PHONE like she had never practiced her phone etiquette. It's unbelievable the tone of voice she used toward someone who regardless of the incident, I STILL ORDERED from them. Amanda, just note that this is your job and I don't want you to see it as a hassle when someone catches you lying and you just give off some big attitude because things don't go your way. I hope you realize that you came off as rude and obnoxious. I'll try to stay away from ordering from Panera in the future for personal purposes and business purposes as well. But I will say, the guy who delivered the food was amazing, sweet, kind and very polite. He even...
Read moreHungry people are never easy to deal with. I was one of them this morning and the last soufflé got sold in front of my eyes while I was in line around 8:30 AM. Immediately I went outside to blow some steam and I called MyPanera Customer Service. Told them I had enough chasing soufflés over the last 3+ years since I’ve been a loyal customer - “You simply need to bake more of those”, I said. To my surprise, the young man replied that the same thing happened to him the week before. “They fly right off the hot shelf” were his exact words, referring to the soufflés. I also called to update my account and he did so well enough. Went back inside and decided to wait for the next round of soufflés. Soon after, I was approached by the supervisor and asked if I was all right. I told her No, because 25 min had passed since I first arrived and there was still no soufflé for me to eat. She kindly offered me a hot beverage and went straight to the kitchen to ask around. She returned and told me I had a little over 10 minutes to wait and asked if there was anything else she could do. The young chef later came to me and personally boxed my 4 soufflés to go. After finally getting my victory, I am giving them 5 stars for trying - for being there thru my hunger and for putting up with my anger. This location is clean, bright and aired - unlike some stuffy Panera’s I’ve entered. The service may be less than optimal if you’re “hangry”, but once you eat... things seem to change for the better. I am recommending this location for a good meal. Please remember to ask for NO PLASTIC CUTLERY if you won’t be using the forks and knives with your...
Read moreThe in-store experience may be very different; this review is for food delivered from this location (600 Chastain Road, Kennesaw).
We used the Panera app to order food: two sandwiches, two soups plus tip and delivery were just over $60. The food was delivered by DoorDash on time.
Upon opening the package the soup containers were half empty, and the store was out of chips so they substituted baguettes! Nothing goes better with a sandwich than a side of bread!
Had the soup been warm it still would have been underwhelming. I can't recommend either their Turkey Chili or French Onion soup. Both were basically water ... flavorless.
The chicken sandwiches were basically thrown together. The side order of baguettes supplied weren't cut, but torn into four pieces (one looked like someone had taken a bite from it) and thrown unwrapped in the bag.
So on a one to ten scale (ten being best). VALUE for you dollar: 3 QUALITY of the food: 4 PRESENTATION of food: 2 If you're ordering food delivery there are multiple restaurants in the area with higher quality, better packaging, and provide better value in these tough...
