Yesterday, Aug 3 2022, We decided to head over to Martins for some what we thought would be some good fast food. Went in, no one in front of us, they took are order right away, then we went to sit down, waiting for our order. After 20 min, I know it was at lest 20 min because I was on a business call, and the time duration was over 20 min. Anyway, my wife went up, asking about our order. First they seam to not know what she was talking about, then someone said, Oh, we're out of fries, your order isnt ready. I then asked, it took you 20 min to figure out you we're out of fries, why didn't someone tell us, we could have gotten Onion rings for both? Then the woman with the throat tattoo decided to get involved, Stating in a very rude and Unprofessional tone WE COMPLETE THE ORDERS AS WE GET THEM! I replied, Really, then why did you just served another customer who came in After you took our order, So does that mean all of the vehicles in your drive through have been in line for over 20 min now? Her only reply was that we are making your order now, no apology, just rudeness. I told her forget it, it doesn't take now 30 min to make 2 burgers, onion rings and fries, especially since there was no one in front of us. I want a full refund, to which she looked surprised, and said that our order was almost ready. I told her again, No, just give us our refund, we don't want it now, especially due to the time and you're attitude. At that time another employee, older gentleman came up, gave us our refund and apologized for it. We left, and went to Freddys. It took us 6 min, to get there, ordered our food, and maybe 5 min to get our food. I gave Martins reviews prior to this, which I indicated they were slow, but to day, No excuse. You can see the attached pics, 2 receipts, Martins refund receipt and Freddy's order receipt. Won't be back to Martins, especially with the extremely Unprofessional attitude of throat tattoo woman, and how extremely slow they are. Try to add pics, but system not...

Changed my rating to 1. Service is terrible. The employees just stare at you with no smile like you are an inconvenience for showing up. I waited inside for several minutes wth a person in front of me and after nobody even acknowledged either of us for several minutes I left. As I was driving away a car from the drive in line bailed and left as well. The mood and atmosphere there is horrible.
Update June 2021:
Changed my rating to 2. It's hard to believe that the service has gone bad so fast since opening only a few months ago.
Going into the dining room to order you get a lower priority than drive thru. At least 8 cars went through the drive thru before I got my order. Dining room still isn't open. There is always a long wait even for something simple like biscuits and gravy.
Today the dining room door was locked and no sign indicating so. This is exactly what happened with Bojangles before they closed in this same location.
Hopefully things turn around, but I'll be staying away for a while to give it a few months and see if they improve things.
Original review March 2021:
I've been waiting for Martin's to open since I saw the sign several months ago.
I have never been to one before, so I was excited to try it out. They did not disappoint!
I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a gravy biscuit. Both were quite good.
I look forward to future visits where I can try out some of the other menu items.
The dining room is not yet open (as...
Read moreI agree with everything reviewer, Stephen Renner, commented. I don’t get the hype. I relocated to north Georgia and have been looking for something to satisfy a breakfast craving like the food I used to have…quick (drive thru) yet homemade. Something similar to what you can find at grandmas house. The food at Martin’s was subpar. What is going on with everyone’s tastebuds?! I am from South Georgia and the food is much better for the price you pay. 8+ dollars for a tablespoon of grits, a scoop of eggs, and bacon is ridiculous. The biscuit itself was big but too much. It’s used as a way to mask the small portions. I can say a sandwich may be more reasonable for the size of the biscuit (literally the size of my palm). However, I cannot recommend the breakfast plates at all. Unfortunately, I didn’t snag photos of the plate but trust it was not photo worthy. Deception serve on a plate.
Attached are photos from a local chain in my hometown that is reasonably priced and gives generous portions. They are not stingy with grits…which shocked me being that they are cheap. In Albany, you can get fresh eggs, cheese, butter, or plain grits, a buttered Texas toast, and choice of (patty, link or bacon), cutlery, and jam or jelly for $6.50!! That’s taxes included! Please take...
