Well intentioned, great service and atmosphere, horrible food. The asparagus appetizer tasted good. Was definitely hard to cut through. My salad was missing dressing on half of it. My kiddo said the sausage in his cannaloni tasted old or stale. The bread they brought did too. I couldn't stomach it. It was like a cardboard flavor. The garlic bread was good but not good enough for how little there was compared to the price. We loved our drinks? Iced tea and sodas. The sauces that came with the garlic bread were meh. The white sauce has no flavor. The red sauce could have been warm. It would have tasted better. My ravioli in meat sauce was good while the sauce was warm but it didn't stay warm long. I ate half the plate because I didn't eat all day and I wish I hadn't had even half the ravioli. My kid got the cannelloni and took 5 bites before being finished. My bf got the chicken Parm with Alfredo. He took one but of Alfredo and it didn't have any flavor and only a little sauce, heavy noodle. The chicken was soggy and gross. He stopped eating that early too. I tried the chicken and had to put it into my napkin. It was not good at all. Plus, the only good thing about the meat sauce was the texture. It was mostly acidic tomato and had no meat in it. If it did, I couldn't find it. Definitely not Italian. We dislike Olive garden but even that would have been better. We ended up paying and leaving everything at the table. We spent 100$ and it was definitely not worth it. I'm a little sad about that.. okay I'm a lot sad about that. I have to drive the family by McDonald's now because they are still hungry. Hands down, would never come here again. I feel bad for the waitress, she was nice but I couldn't tip considering we didn't eat much of our main meal and had to pay so much. The only other complaint- it came out so fast! Nothing tastes warm for long. Even the table behind us didn't seem to eat much on two of the plates. I have stomach problems and I like to eat slow because I fill easy. We were still eating the appetizers when the salads came, and still eating salad when the meal came. I...
Read moreWent to Casa Mia for the first time since moving to Kennewick over a year ago. My parents came up from out of state and we were looking for a restaurant to have a nice family dinner at... We walked into Casa Mia and there were only 2 other sets of people dining in the entire restaurant. The waitress sat us so close to another set of diner's that the seating felt immediately awkward and intrusive...the lighting was so low that we could barely make out what the menu said, and by the time the waitress came to take our order we had already been waiting for over 10 minutes. My mom had a question about the size difference between a small pasta dish and a large... And the waitress pointed to a table that had been vacant when we walked in and said "that plate on the table over there is a large..." We couldn't see what she was talking about, and my mom said "I'm sorry... I can't see what you mean..." And the waitress turned her back on my mom, said "Jesus Crimeny"...stomped over to the empty table, and brought back a dirty dish and held it less than 1Ft away from my mom's face and said.."This is a large.. ".... It was gross and I was shocked at the lack of manners displayed by the waitress.... When our food arrived it was not hot and lacked flavor. I WILL NEVER...
Read moreTL.DR The clazone wasn't melted all the way threw, and the pesto on the spinach raviolis is pretty strong.
I got the Calzone, and my girlfriend got the spinach raviolis. Being a little nit picky, a little not, one thing I don't like about tomato sauces is that they're commonly watery tasting and sadly that's how it was in the calzone, but it did have the right amount. The calzone is BIG, and stuffed with mostly meats and cheese. This came with a some problems. Firstly, they bring it out with a serated steak knife that isn't really sharp enough, or suitable, to cut threw it decently especially the bottom crust. My biggest problem with the calzone was that, in the middle, the cheese and some of the meats weren't hot, the cheese wasn't melted all the way. It came out oozing and steaming, with a beautiful crust, the center was an unpleasant surprise. But I also hate half melted cheese. The spinach raviolis, we're pretty good, but the pesto on top of the creme sauce took over the other flavors giving it an almost manatone flavor of pesto. The house rolls are really good nice and fluffy with a crisp crust, with the fancy butter...
