Canton Michoacàno — Restaurant in Kenosha

Overall it was an okay experience. I only have two complaints. 1-when placing our phone order the lady was very distracted and seemed to have a very hard time understanding what I was asking, she had to have me repeat myself many times. She also never asked for a name and I had to ask how much our order would cost along with how long it would be. I’ve worked in a restaurant that did take out, delivery, etc. and those were always important details that we asked for and that we could identify the orders by. It seemed very unprofessional. 2-Flavor…was lacking as far as spices. If you want to have something that has good flavor try another Mexican restaurant. Both my meat in the steak quesadillas and my wife’s chimichanga were lacking, the only thing that made it taste Mexican was the salsa. My wife’s aunt is Mexican, and makes better/more flavorful food. I went to Canton last night with my two daughters. We have been to Canton many times. Our experience in the past has been very good. But not last night. The server, Silvia, had an attitude, and a lot of it. At one point while taking our order she let out a loud sigh as though she was annoyed. We asked for more tortillas for the salsa. She walked past us several times and didn't bring it. We had to ask another server for tortillas and she brought them right away. We finished our margaritas and wanted another and not once did she come over to ask if we wanted anything. There was only one other booth with two people when we arrived. My daughters and I have worked in the service industry so we understand how important tips are. We usually tip well. This service didn't warrant a tip. We decided to just take our food and leave. I ordered a chicken taco dinner & they gave me all ground beef . I called and asked if I can bring the food in back can they make my order right. They told me there was nothing they can do about it. Also the ground beef got a weird taste to it & smells funny. The hard taco shells are just like the $1 boxed ones you buy from the store. It was soggy and inedible. Probably one of the worst Mexican food places in Kenosha. I would’ve been more satisfied with Taco Bell.
