I decided to try their signature Moody Club sandwich, and oh boy, it was a flavor explosion! The combination of perfectly cooked bacon, tender turkey, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, all layered between two slices of toasted bread, was simply divine. A friend recommended we go here to eat. They knew I loved soups & sandwiches, but also Middle Eastern foods. Moody's covers all of that. We were greeted as soon as we walked. They explained the menu and answered any questions we had. We saw on their Facebook page that they had a sampler platter. We decided to start with that, and my husband ordered a beverage. You order at the register, pay, and you will be given a numbered stand for your table. Your food will be brought to your table. Point of information. Everything is homemade and prepared upon ordering. Please be patient about the time this takes. The platter had kibbeh, falafel, babaganoush, hummus, a tabbouleh salad (chopped greens, herbs, finely diced of tomato and cucumbers, and warm pita triangles. The kibbeh was so excellent, a blend of ground meat and grain, spices, pine nuts. The best we ever eaten. We ordered 3 more and an order rolled grape leaves. The grape leaves rolls were tiny delicate, not big fat like greek dolmades. They were a blend of rice, lemon? and spices. Another reviewer said their rolls were gray and mushy, not ours. We also ordered two pistachios honey filo dessert squares. Try any one of the dessert selections. The filo was crisp, not limp. Their soups are literally to die for. I’m a soup fanatic, and boy do they make good soup. I appreciate this place because the owner is a great guy. He truly puts his heart into his work and it shows. Nowadays, that’s really difficult to come by. We moved to Kenosha like 4 months ago. And just happened to stop by because I was craving soup. When we walked in they had like 3 or 4 soups. But they sounded so unfamiliar, not your regular basic soups like basil or chicken noodle. The lady working there saw I was confused so before I could say anything she already started pouring me samples and said that I have to try them. Hands down that made me a life long costumer. Because all the soups were absolutely delicious. I was blown away. My favorite is the cheese chicken soup. There was like a lemon soup and some type of bean soup that day. But I personally wouldn’t have gotten any of them because I wasn’t in the mood for experimenting. Now I come here almost once a week or order take out.
