Tropical Tan — Local services in Kenosha

My daughter got spray tanning on the morning of her homecoming. They were finally able to start the machine after the third try. My daughter came out looking exactly the same as she did before tanning. When I asked the employee to take a look at it, she refused to, so I asked her POLITELY to speak to the manager. This is where she had a temper tantrum and asked me to leave threatening to ban me from the salon. My other option was to pay another $35 and get a dark tan instead of a medium, which she suggested to my daughter as this was her first time spray tanning. That, however, didn't guarantee anything either. I was persistent to speak to the manager, but her response was that she can't call her on a Saturday, she cannot give me her email nor the days or times she works so I can speak to her. Since she had no explanation of why she would ask me to leave, just because I asked to speak to the manager, she ended up calling her and did it outside of the salon whispering so I couldn't hear their conversation, because it was obviously just her side of the story. I was shocked how immature and unprofessional this kid was! The manager ended up talking to me after all. I was told that the color needs at least 8 hrs to develop. It's been about 96 hrs now and we're still waiting for that color to develop. It might take an eternity, and that is exactly how long will it take for us to go back to this salon....

I had a bad experience here today..stoped in there today..to tan..did my tanning...and because of the weather...had to stay after..to complete my tanning,...you see...you keep tanning for up to a half hour after you tan as long as you don't step in to cold air...or take a shower...the air was only 60 degrees out side...so I sat down to read Google News...and check the 6 weather apps on my phone..(I ride a motor cycle).. Killing time while I waste time to finish tanning...the creep from the vape shop next door..came in and started giving me the 3rd degree about my business..asking me where I was going...why I was there...when I was leaving...and even tryed to get my license plate number...so I went to the tropical tan on south Sheridan rd and complained to that shop...where I have been going for 2 years...I will never go to the north side tropical tan again...BAD FOR BUSINESS TO HAVE SOME CREEP...

Ok so I went into this place never tanned in a tanning bed before. I talked with Robyn and stated I do not know what to expect and guidance for me so I don't over do it. Keep in mind I'm blonde and pale. She stated bed 3 would be fine for 10 minutes. So without even walking me to the room or showing how to use anything, I walked down to room 10. I got in with shorts and went in. After 8 minutes I got out, feeling warm but ok. This is a week and a half later and I go back in to try this again, after healing from sever burns. I go in today and now I'm told there's a state law for eye protection, ok why wasn't I told this in the beginning! So know I paid $22 for one tan because of poor training and guidance from the staff. Now I'm super turned off to tanning. Expensive lesson I would not...
