Beautiful space, it’s soft and inviting. I loved how the menu was beyond the basics and included other coffee drinks such as iced Vietnamese.

However, I want to point out that unless you’re using Vietnamese coffee beans through a Phin filter AND sweetened condensed milk, it is not Vietnamese coffee.

Ordered one, and saw the barista pour in whole milk. I missed the first part of making the coffee because I went to the bathroom so I can’t even say whether it was Vietnamese coffee beans or a phin filter was used.

I am a local resident who has been patiently awaiting the opening of District Cafe for a months now! The wait has been worth it. While there are definitely some growing pains (way too many pillows, a lack of character, and no savory options on the food menu), it's otherwise great. The best thing it does for our neighborhood is the fact that they make espresso drinks - and they use Ceremony beans! My favorite food item is the brown sugar scone.
