Dreamys Ice Cream — Restaurant in Kentucky

A whole lot of hype to this place, but sadly I didn’t see why. I got the dirt sundae and it was pretty average, the vanilla ice cream reminded me whole lot of McDonald’s ice cream. Anyways, the quality of it was ehh, I felt like I got a total of maybe 2 Oreos crushed up in mine. It was pretty much just vanilla ice cream with gummy bears. My girlfriend got the turtle sundae and it was melted as soon as she picked it up off of the counter. It seriously just ran out of the top of the cup when she grabbed it and it was dripping every where. The customer service was great and timely but I felt like the people making the ice cream; really rushed it. They have these boxes taped on the inside of the building that they have you go wait in. If these are suppose to set some sort of social distancing, then whomever came up with the idea of taping those boxes. Is not very bright. They are literally right next to each other and not even near 6 feet apart. I didn’t really understand them at all. I don’t usually worry about the whole social distancing idea; but if you’re going to do something about it, at least do it right. We stopped to check this place out because it looked very warm and welcoming. Our group consisted of 5 sixth grade girls, every one of whom enjoyed the ice cream and ambiance. I personally ordered off of the Staff's Specials menus, and it was a very cute idea with a fun twist! Our server's name was Emily, and she was the sweetest girl ever. she was calm and patient, but kept the energy up! The ice cream quality was divine, and the service we were lucky enough to receive was amazing even just as we were walking out the staff was so respectful. Would return. Dreamy Whip is such a fun place. It brought us joy amd laughter that will last us a long time. I went into this establishment with high hopes, and my expectations were greatly succeeded!
