I ordered my food at 5 o’clock and it said it was gonna be ready at 6 o’clock, I show up at 6, it’s packed, reminder it’s Christmas Day, so I walk in and people are standing around the front counter and I can tell they’re being absolutely horrendous towards the staff, complaining they’ve been waiting for 1 hour and 40 minutes, JUST A REMINDER ITS CHRISTMAS DAY, so around 15 minutes of waiting I couldn’t stand how people were talking to the staff, its ridiculous how these employees were working on Christmas Day when most restaurants aren’t, and these people were treating them like it was their fault their food wasn’t ready, in the 15 minutes I was sitting in there I think they got around 26 calls on top of trying to take care of let’s say 20 or something people standing in the restaurant, so I asked the guy at the front counter the progress on the order and he said they hadn’t even started yet so he said he’d call me when it was ready so an hour passes and he calls just like he said that my food was ready, and the crazy part is, the entire time this one staff member was being berated by about 5 people at one time he wasn’t the bit rude, he kept a polite tone, apologized, and estimated their wait time, these employees were working so hard for all these people and they barely got any respect, if you want an amazing experience and customer service not to mention the amazing food, come here, it’s better then any fast food restaurant you...
Read moreIt’s a no from me. This was my second time eating here and will be my last.
I got the sesame chicken with fried rice and crab rangoons. The chicken was overcooked and I spit out multiple pieces when I was eating because they were hard chunks. There was no crunch factor to the chicken because it was drowning in the sauce. WAY too much sauce. The broccoli was soggy too from sitting under the chicken in the container. The sauce didn’t really have that much flavor either….
Don’t even get me started on the fried rice. It was disgusting. I ate a couple bites and threw it in the trash. It had a very weird taste that I cant describe. It just tasted off to me.
The crab rangoons were pathetic. The outside shell was crispy and tasted okay, but the filling on the inside was lacking. Most of our pieces only had a tiny bit of filling, the rest was an empty shell. Just left more to be desired.
Seems like a lot of people like the place, to each their own. But I was not a fan and will not be returning. Just wanted to share...
Read moreWe have always ordered from House Of Tang. Our opinion is that it is THE best oriental restaurant in Northern Kentucky. The place is small but is always clean. Shirley is phenomenal! She works so hard to keep the place running. I have watched her kids grow and now they too are running the place. If you haven’t tried it I suggest you do. The food is always fresh and hot! Her fried rice is authentic, not like some close by restaurants that look plastic and yellow. I love her house mustard. It’s located in a small plaza by what used to be Ameristop, down toward the end. They stay open late and are normally rocking the food out on holidays even. Please remember that when ordering if it is a holiday. We have place very large orders and with proper notice it’s always ready when she has told us. PS- they sell party trays!! Give House or Tang a try, you won’t be disappointed. Tell her...
