Papa Grande 54 Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Kentucky

The very cordial folks at Papa's, greeted us as we walked in...and, showed us the Papa Chair in the front as we walked by its "largeness". Not sure about the story there, but it set out a mood that added pluses to our experience... And, their greeting did not feel contrived as coming from Management. There were broad smiles all during our dining. We were seated promptly and immediately we were given chips and 2 flavors of dip. With our drink orders taken next, we looked over a nicely arranged menu, all the while marveling at the flavor of the salsa and a sweet/spicy ranch dip that could have very well been a "Specialty of The House"! When our entrees arrived, they were plentiful, hot, and WONDERFUL to the tastebuds! Our meals were just superb, enough there for a take-home meal! Our Server was attentive, gracious, and "Johnny on the Spot!" The only slight detractor on our Server was, he could not tell us the spice used in the sweet/spicey ranch dip. He answered that he was not a cook at all, and he was sorry, but he did not know. No biggy. You will simply LOVE this fine new Mexican Restaurant! The atmosphere is sublime, and the food is a world of culinary art for you pallet! You'll LOVE IT, I promise! Highly recommended. Very bad experience at this restaurant the manager was rude and there was hair in me in my sons food and it was obviously a man’s hair or somebody with very short hair first I set my sons food back which was the macaroni and cheese and then I had to send my street tacos back because there’s also a hair in that and when I told the manager just to let him know he come back to my table with the plate and goes this is your hair and I said no it’s not and he said yes it is and start laughing and walked away and made it very loudly to let everybody know that it was my hair when it was not manager was very rude and try to blame me for the food being messed up when it come out of their kitchen I don’t recommend this place that was all rude and hair in the food not something I want my child to be eating in somebody else’s hair I’ll give this a zero out of 10 for cleanliness in a zero out of 10 for kindness I get it can happen that’s understandable but when you come back to the table and accuse me of it being my hair when it wasn’t that...

Ordered an appetizer with chorizo and they brought out queso with unseasoned ground beef.

Ordered enchiladas and they had close to half a container of sour cream on the top and an entire tomato slice. So i had to go ahead and finish the kitchens job and dice the tomato. My boyfriend had a shrimp tail left on. The waiter couldnt seem to comprehend anything we were saying.

To top it off, i had only eaten half an enchilada and the waiter came and TOOK MY FULL PLATE FROM IN FRONT OF ME. My boyfriend was done, I obviously was not. The 9.50 enchiladas i paid for went into the trash.
