This restaurant is ridiculously slow. We pulled into drive thru at 6:53 pm on a Monday night. There were 5 cars in front of us. After 15 minutes we finally reached the speaker only because one of the 5 cars pulled out of line. We placed our order after waiting another 4 minutes and had another car behind us pull out of line. When we first pulled up I noticed an employee sitting on the curb playing on her phone. I figured she was on break or waiting for a ride. While waiting 3 cars pulled into the parking lot and went inside. Finally, after 30 minutes the line began to move and we pulled out of line and I went inside. Upon entering I saw 4 customers waiting in various places in the store. No one was at the counter and there looked to be 3 teenagers working in the grill and drive thru. I asked the other customers how long they had been waiting and they said 20 minutes. They also informed me that there were 2 employees outside on break. I went out to inform them that there were about 20 customers waiting for service. The only response was, "I'm on break!", and this came from the girl I know had been out there for at least 30 minutes because she was the one sitting on the curb when I first pulled into drive thru. I have managed several restaurants and I know it gets busy but when I can look at your website and it shows that your peak hours are during this time, why would 2 people be on break at the same time or why at all? Common sense was not being used. My bill was $14.42. The store manager needs to stop and consider that not only myself but if the other 2 cars that pulled out of line was to spend at least this much (or more) you are taking a huge loss daily. Whoever was in charge tonight was not doing there job and my suspicion is that it was one of the two on break. Thirty minutes in drive thru only to make it to the speaker is sad. If I could give no stars I would. ...
Read moreThe absolute worst service. I visited this location about an hour ago. I chose to go through the drive through due to the fact that my wife and I drove 8 hours to Owensboro to visit family and we just wanted something simple to eat. First thing when I pull up to the speaker, the gentleman attending drive thru says "hello" that was the extent of his greeting. So I reply with "hello" after a good 3 minutes of silence he comes back with "are you going to order?" So I placed my order (several times I will add) after he continued saying he couldn't hear me. Finally my order is placed. 12 loco Doritos tacos. 6 nacho cheese and 6 ranch. All supreme. When asked to verify the screen I did so and it showed exactly what I had ordered. 6 nacho supreme and 6 cool ranch supreme. Charging $3 extra for the supreme. My total cost of the 12 tacos was $21.19. I proceeded to the window where I paid and got my order (after several minutes and a line of cars piled up behind me) so I get back to my destination and open the first taco. It was nacho cheese but no sour cream. Ok maybe there was a mistake on that one. I get to the second taco. A fire hot taco (which was NEVER included in my order) also with no sour cream. Every taco we opened was a mystery inside and with no supreme to any of them. Is this how you treat all of your customers on a regular basis? Just slap together whatever you feel like putting into a box and stealing customers money by not providing the products you have over charged them For? This is totally pathetic. As you can clearly see from the attached photo of my receipt which is another discrepancy. It shows Melissa as the cashier which was not the case. It was in fact a male running that cashier. You either have no management on duty to supervise your employees or your management on duty simply does not care. Either way it's a very low standard for...
Read moreWe visited right after Lunch with our Greatgrandson, Easton. Both going in and coming out, the floor was EXTREMELY slick. It was like skating on ice - LITERALLY. My wife came very near falling! We held to each other and to Easton as we left.
The Service was good, but apparently understaffed for the day. Several customers ahead of us were angry about big delays and wrong orders. One group had waited an hour and got a refund and left...ours took about 20 minutes. The workers were very apologetic and cordial about delays...it was NOT that they weren't trying to "keep up" with the crowd...they were. I have never seen a crew work as fast and as hard to keep up with a constant flow of customers! There was just not enough OF them to keep up...A MANAGEMENT problem, it would appear!
Our food was good, but expensive...especially in light of delays and a DANGEROUS floor to try and balance your way out! I'm not exaggerating when I say it MUST have had a coat of grease over it. The "Caution-Wet Floor" sign was out...but it should have read..."Caution...Floor Slick as a Greased Doorknob...Walk Here at Your Own Peril"!!
I gave our experience 3 Stars for the gracious employees. They WERE doing their best. But we were literally scared walking through the restaurant. Someone is going to have a BAD fall if something isn't addressed about the floors. It was ALMOST my wife today. I'm glad we got out safely. We are both retired; she has bad hips and I've had back surgery so we were literally sweating to make it out.
You may laugh, but I assure you, every word is 100% true. I guess we'll use the drive-up next time and not risk a fall.
Thank you for any consideration...
