I was very disappointed in this location. I've been to several other East Coast Wings in the area so I know what to expect. We had a long wait (expected on a Friday night), but when the hostess came outside to get us, she asked if we wanted a booth or table. We told her that either was fine & I asked how much longer our wait might be. She went back inside then came out & said she was just messing with us - our table was ready. Ummm.. ok. Not cool after a 45 minute wait. Our server said that her name was Sierra. Her nametag read SiSi. She was horrible. Yes, they were busy but we did everything in our power as customers to make her job easier. We asked for refills way before our drinks ran out, yet we still had empty glasses 4 times. We ordered sauces with our meals, yet the waitress who brought our food did not bring sauces. We asked her for them, they never came. When SiSi came back to check on us, we were all out of drinks & I asked for exactly the number of sauces we needed (party of 6, 4 of us ordered wings). She brought back 1 sauce. I asked for more & someone else finally brought them. As we were 1st ordering our meals, I asked SiSi if I needed to go ahead & order a cookie skillet since they were busy & the cookies take a while to cook. She said that she would put the cookie order in when we were about 1/2 way finished with our order. Once we all had been completely finished with our meals for 20 minutes, she asked if we still wanted the skillet. I told her no. She offered again & I still said no. A man came to the table & asked if I was sure I didn't want the cookie anymore because it only had "like 3 more minutes." I told him I was sure I didn't want it; that I had ordered it with our food & we had already been finished for 20 minutes before the skillet was mentioned. He didn't hear any of that though because like all of the staff, he walked away while I was still talking. That brings me to the next point... every single person who served our table, with the exception of the busboy, walked away while we were still talking! 1 waitress threw a couple ranch cups down while she was walking by & never said a thing. SiSi, the waitress who brought our food, the couple different waitresses who gave us refills - everyone walked away while we were still talking. The food was ok. The mild wings were tasteless & soaked in grease, but all the other dishes were fine. Nothing was particularly good but it wasn't bad either. This location needs to majorly beef up their customer service before I would even consider it to be on-par with other...
Read moreI’m shocked by the negative reviews for this Main Street Kernersville location. We have always had good experiences here but for the past year we’ve ordered online and picked it up. We have placed two orders recently so I’m doing a combo review and biggie sizing it. I’m the orderer and Hubs picks it up. They still offer curbside but he goes in. He noticed a sign that said “please be nice, we are trying to hire for all positions” and they were asking for some patience. I totally understand that might be affecting the dine in experience. What I DON’T understand is people complaining about unemployment because literally every where I go, there are Now Hiring signs. Sigh. Anyway, the online ordering process is easy and I like that you can customize your order, pay and add a tip. Yes, I always add a tip for pick up orders. I’ve been a waitress and that can be a thankless job. I’ve been a patron a million times (give or take 3) and I appreciate what they go through. Our orders are correct. The food is hot and delicious. What more do you want? How about ranch dressing that is so good you could drink it? Yeah, they have that too. Seriously. The steak and cheese is fantastic with a lot of meat. We always get extra cheese but that’s because we LOVE cheese. Hubs loves the wings and they are flavorful. He gets hot and then a side of extra hot sauce for a dip. I got the brisket dippers. OMG. I tell myself that the calories listed on the online menu must have a typo.YIKES! I continue to order them because dayum they...
Read moreI seriously which there was half of a star for a rating. The hostess led us to a dirty booth. She asked if something was wrong. I stated that the seat was dirty and there was still a napkin and food on the floor. There was NO apology as there should have been. She walks off and comes back with a spray bottle and starts to spray almost spraying me. She could have asked me to step back if she had any professionalism! Hostess shouldn’t act like that. Let me also state that nobody cleaned the booths or tables until the last 15 minutes of us being there. The hostess put another couple there and they complained about a “wet” seat! They moved also. Make sure booths or tables and chairs are clean and dry before sitting potential customers. I wanted to leave but me and my friend wanted some wings. However, she ordered a lot of appetizers and other items. My friend was paying and that’s why I stayed. Let me state that it doesn’t matter which East Coast Wings I go to the service or lack of service is the same. Our server when we moved booths was named Bri. She was nice, but I should not have had to ask her name. A good waitress would state that first instead of inquiring about drinks. The prices were too high for what one wanted. The wings were not good. The mozzarella sticks were the only positive thing. I will not be returning to any ECW establishment because they don’t value customers. Lastly, the bathroom was dirty and horrible. Someone didn’t do bathroom checks or they just...
