I absolutely love this theatre!! Even though I live farther away from it than other places I prefer to make the drive because, to me, it's worth it for the price of tickets considering the movies being shown as well as the overall good quality of the experience. Really good quality (i.e. quality of projection, screens in good repair, etc), first run or at least very close to it movies at an extremely affordable price. Seating is usually comfortable and clean, seats, armrests and cup holders are generally in good repair, and the floors of seating area are clean as well (at least as clean as can be expected with the number of showings and patrons). The bathrooms are cleaned regularly and items like toilet paper and soap are kept well stocked. Movies running and environment/atmosphere are good for families (including those with younger children), groups of friends, couples, or even people who like to go by themselves. Concessions are also decently priced, and there is a pretty decent range of food and drinks available. The employees are, in general, polite, efficient, and good at their jobs (better than expected when you take into account that most of them seem to be in their teens and early 20's). Lines for tickets and concessions are generally fast moving and easy to navigate if you take the large volume of customers into account. I definitely recommend...
Read moreIt is a great little budget theatre. I purchased two tickets online which were $17.00. They play the latest movies just as they are released. We saw The monkey. The popcorn is your average movie popcorn which I love. She was saying they do specials/discounts if you purchase using cash. I also believe the prices are already at a great discount. I had used Apple Pay for our popcorn purchase. They have slushies and candies. All in all I rate it a 9/10 if you are looking for a great priced place to watch the newest movies, and bring your family. My daughter enjoyed it as well. Saw in some comments that people are saying it is small, which it is a smaller theatre as it is and older classic type theatre. It opened in December 1989. Also read that is it dark in the theatre, yes it dark in each theatre if you get there early, until time for the movie credits to start not all theatres areas have isle lighting and we were in one of them but it didn’t ruin our experience when the movie had it’s dark parts. It is a classic type theatre, doesn’t have the luxury seating etc but we enjoyed it and will...
Read moreFinding a place for my sons birthday in November, was challenging. All he wanted to do was watch ratatouille with his friends and eat burger king. I called every movie theater in the area for a birthday party and every place was going to cost me wayyy more then what I expected to spend.
When I called Trex Cinema, it was nothing but easy! Very Nice, organized and extremely kind staff. All we had to do was bring the movie, (we picked ratatouille, that’s obviously not in theaters anymore) , food, a table and anything we needed.
We loved everything about this party! That fact that I was able to bring our OWN food was such a big plus! Our guest were still able to purchase concessions on their own. Since we were allowed to have our own food, we had Burger King, pizza, fruit, drinks and even our OWN candy.
The best part, the kids loved it! We had a whole theater to ourselves and they were just able to eat, hangout, “be loud” ( talk during the movie), walk around, sit were they wanted to, etc!
If you’re looking for a birthday party idea, don’t miss out on something so...
