Los Corrales — Restaurant in Keyport

We went to the restaurant and waited while they finished wrapping up a to-go order. The guy behind the counter starts to take our order and we find out several items are not available. He asks another employee what was available she starts to answer but then stops to answer the phone. She then hands it over to the guy trying our order so she can cash out the only family sitting in the dining room who were standing behind us. It was the first time I ever stopped there. It was very small place but I saw the woman making fresh tacos which is always very exciting to me. The girl behind the counter was lovely it was her family's business. I asked her what they had in tacos and she told me everything on the list and I got al pastor. I asked quite a few questions because I like everything homemade and they do make everything there themselves. I got to be honest, seems like hit or miss. First time I ordered a couple weeks ago all the food was phenomenal. Truly authentic Mexican. The last time I ordered a chicken enchiladas there was barely any chicken and nothing comes with it like rice or beans which I feel like there should be a combo option on the menu. Seemed a little overpriced for what we ordered. I'm going to try it again though. I wrote this couple months ago and I was back there today.
