We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant on Valentine's Day. We were a group of six friends and two kids, and our evening was completely ruined due to the lack of professionalism and customer service.
Unbearable Wait Time: We arrived at 7:15 PM, ordered starters and the main course immediately, but waited for 2.5 hours without receiving the main course. Starters were served sporadically every 20 minutes, but the main course never came.
Neglect Towards Customers: Despite repeated requests for updates on our food, there was no response from the staff. The kids were starving, yet the staff displayed utter callousness and indifference.
Poor Management Priorities: Even as we decided to leave after 2.5 hours, we were told the food was still being prepared—this when the restaurant was closing in just 15 minutes! To make matters worse, the owner or manager never bothered to apologize or address our concerns. Instead, they seemed more focused on fulfilling online orders via Uber Eats and Grubhub, prioritizing greed over in-house diners.
Unacceptable Justifications: As we left, we noticed other customers finally getting their food after waiting for over two hours. A fellow diner even suggested that we should "support" the restaurant because the owner is Maharashtrian. This reasoning is absurd—we pay for timely service, quality food, and a good dining experience.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. The lack of accountability and respect for customers is appalling. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they are prepared to endure endless waiting and...
Read moreWent to pick up food 30 minutes after I placed my order, stood in the restaurant for over 2 hours waiting. Nobody was working the front door, and there were at least a dozen people standing around waiting for orders without any direction or information.
I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for nearly 15 years, I completely understand that kitchens get backed up. I did not mind having to wait. What I did mind was the complete lack of customer service. I refuse to believe that the staff was unaware the kitchen was overwhelmed and two hours behind, yet my whole time waiting nobody explained what was happening.
Not a single employee took the time to just say, “I’m so sorry, the kitchen is backed up tonight.” Some orders came out that were ordered 40 minutes later than mine, and it seemed whoever tried to cancel their order got served first. When I finally tried to cancel my order at 10pm (I ordered at 8), the employee ran into the back, and came out with my food 15 minutes later, with a halfhearted apology.
The food was pretty good, but this is obviously a poorly managed restaurant. None of the employees had any support from management, and had to deal with tables walking out and people arguing for refunds without any real leadership backing them up.
I will avoid this place like the plague, and would recommend others do the same. Every restaurant has nights where the kitchen is backed up; the difference maker is competent leadership. That’s how you can mitigate frustration and retain customers in those high...
