So we were visiting my brother’s new place and thought we’d check out this place, I’ve got to say it was very disappointing! We really wanted a sit down meal that didn’t require us to visit St. Augustine. Yes we understand that they sell pizza but they also had Italian meals, so that’s what we ordered. The appetizers we ordered were pretzel bites and fried calamari. The calamari was VERY FISHY tasting and the pretzel bites were made from obviously frozen ones that you can buy in the grocery store. We each ordered different meals, one meal was shrimp tacos that we asked for no blackening (for child) and no siracha, seriously it came with mango salsa that was on the side that was very oniony and no slaw on the tacos. So basically my granddaughter got shrimp on tortillas. The next meal was the shrimp basket, this meal was old dried out overcooked shrimp. The next meal was seafood crema Diablo, it came out as fra Diablo and the waitress said she ordered it wrong and took it back, the correct dish came out with the cream sauce with tortellini, shrimp, scallops and peppers but it was disgustingly fishy tasting. The other meal was chicken Alfredo, it was too cold to eat so had to be remade. It came back with some better freshness but no kidding the chicken looked boiled not grilled and tasted that way. The braided bread that came with the meals was good, that was the only good thing we received. The service was excellent, but the food needs serious work! My dogs ate...
Read moreVery nice Atmosphere. The server didn't look like he was in a good mood and when we all got our food the order was wrong.
I have food allergies and I specifically asked for a sub with just roast beef with oil and vinegar.
The food came 30 minutes later and it had tomatoes + lettuce with onions. Luckily i'm not allergic to this food but I still didn't ask for it.
And the lemonade tasted like lemon flavored water. So we ate the food anyways, It didn't even have any taste really.
Didn't taste like it had a bit of salt on it. We ordered fries and all they were was some limpy grease.
My food wasn't the only food that was bad, my family ordered a calzone and another sub.
It's pretty much the same story for the other sub, it tasted bad and bland.
The calzone actually had no meat in it. Some onions, mushrooms and jalapenos and thats it..
We complained about the calzone and asked for the bill, we were ready to leave. Our server came and slammed the bill on the table and said "Here you go bud."
We left unsatisfied and still hungry so we went to Wendy's.
Waste of $39! This is our first and last visit. I'm not happy with this experience.
P.S Leaving awful responses to people that didn't have a good experience isn't gonna help. Learn how to run...
Read moreMeet friends at this location for the first time. Friends had been here before and said the had great pizza. I didn't ask about the name and I guess I assumed since you were gonna use the name Brooklyn the you must be from Brooklyn NY. Since you are also gonna sell pizza with the name Brooklyn then would it be safe to assume the pizza is gonna be NY style pizza from NY. There fore if you are gonna make NY pizza then you surely wouldn't use Florida water and you would assume they would shop in NY water. Well?!? Nope. They pizza is no where near NY style pizza. The crust isn't NY style. The slices are not NY style. The flavor isn't NY style. So....Keystone Heights, FL. Brooklyn Boys pizza is their own pizza and has no reference to NY. You pizza is okay. If you are the only place around for pizza then, oh well. Service was good. I believe she dropped off our pizza for 5 of us and I don't remember seeing her again. We didn't need her anyways. Atmosphere is good. I prefer to sit outside but I don't like smelling cigarette smoke when I eat. Not a bad place. Nothing stand out that sets them apart from any other place. I would recommend. The pizza wasn't bad just nothing to rave...
