Where do I begins the food was HORRIBLE! I kept hearing everyday rant and rave about the food but my first and second experience was just not the business. I did not receive the Okra I ordered and you could tell they cook the mozzarella sticks in the same grease as the fish! Total disaster. I called and spoke to someone he offered to replace my okra but why though if your cooking it in the same grease as seafood! Someone needs to make sure the grease is fingers properly and it’s not cooked in the same oil as fish. The shrimp was alright nothing fancy about it just fried shrimp it was hard and because of my tumor it limited me to not it since it was fried extra hard. Don’t get me started on the mashed potatoes I was so confused. I don’t know how anybody can mess up mashed pot potato’s but whoever prepared it definitely needs a lesson in proper seasoning. There was so much black pepper I couldn’t even stomach it. The texture was off not sure why but it was just not mashed potatoes I would ever order again. I have officially had my no thank you helping and I will NOT recommend this establishment to anybody. I am sure others will disagree but that’s what this is all about being honest about your experience so there you have it! I saw they opened another restaurant closer by me that is a plus for those who don’t want to drive across town. Oh yes and the man I spoke to told me they didn’t have okra in stock REALLY you couldn’t just relay that to my delivery driver so I could request something else. I didn’t want French fries if I did I would have ordered it. The best way to my stomach is to get the order right the first time. It took a good 35 minute wait or so for me to get my order which is understandable as there were people ahead of me and everything did definitely come out fresh. Now the fish is where this place shines, no fishy odor and a nice crisp with some lightly seasoned breading, very satisfying and tasty. The burger was also great, a tad greasy but overall flavorful and with a fair helping of meat. The fries were lackluster, not especially crispy despite the wait which was surprising and they also coat everything (I mean everything) with a light dusting of parmesan cheese. Not bad but didn't exactly elevate them either.
Now for the worst of the food, the mac and cheese.... I don't know WHAT is going on but the mac and cheese is really more like a mac salad with a sort-of cheesy sauce that's more peppery and tangy than cheesy. I'm sorry if this is what y'all like but I thought it was pretty nasty, I would NOT RECOMMEND the mac and cheese. My final negative would be that the cashier didn't explain that everything would be parmesan dusted until I got my food (different cashier than the one I ordered from) and they DO NOT have tartar sauce for the fish which I can respect but I wish I would have known ahead of time. Read moreThe food for the most part is really good. Now the customer service today which is what im basing this review on is trash. Understanding that the person who’s conducting the customer service isn’t the one who cooked the food. Unfortunately the person taking the order is the representative of that company and if something is wrong ( cooks fault or company) your job is to fix the issue or try to find a resolution of some sort. The fix shouldn’t be a nasty indirect attitude or Nonchalant response that indicates that you’re not the manager and come back when someone’s can fix it. Taylor would not even let me get out what the issue was. Once she realized that I’m trying to get her to at least let me finish my sentence she started doing other task that was clearly more important.
Now regardless of the issue that isn’t how you do people. $70.42 is what I spent for the incorrect order. I did not want free food, simply just to pay for what I received and get the difference back. Everyone isn’t try to get over. If your easily annoyed by trying to fix or correct problems, customer service shouldn’t be the field you apply or work in to avoid things like this
Hopefully this doesn’t deter anyone from ordering inside the business establishment but be mindful that if your order is wrong more than likely to say the least expect this from Sharks.
