Catfish Box — Restaurant in Killeen

LISTEN!!! I can’t provide a picture because the food is no longer present with us. I ordered on Ubereats because I didn’t feel like leaving my dorm room but once Ubereats canceled my order, I called the business to see what happened. A guy answered the phone and explained to me that he’d started making my order already and because I didn’t want this business to take a loss, I drove there. LET ME TELL YOU!!! This food was a 2000/10 and if you don’t believe me go try it for yourself. I don’t even like hush puppies but theirs was so good, unfortunately they were out of shrimp but tomorrow I’m trying for sure😮‍💨

Fries (RIGHT AMOUNT OF CRUNCH) Hush puppies (Not to sweet & perfectly cooked) Catfish nuggets (ONLY SOME, were a tad salty) Fish Fillets (perfectly seasoned, cooked, AND DELICIOUS!!!)

I got to meet one of the owners and she was really nice, she also gave me some flyers that I will be giving to people personally who I believe are actually going to try the food. The guy that I talked to over the phone was really courteous and friendly as well, that’s what made me get up and show my support! Also if y’all are reading this, IM COMING BACK!!!

This place really gave some of my favorite spots in Houston a run for its money. I have to say that I am enjoying my college experience in Killeen and I have to say that among the many restaurants in this small area, I am finding some Gems.

I'm still questioning whether the fish is ACTUAL catfish but it was tasty and clean nonetheless ! The shrimp were really good but they're not very big and slightly overcooked . The fries ? ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS ! My toddlers wouldn't even eat them and they LOVE french fries . They were severely under seasoned and some were undercooked .

I got the red drink . It was very warm . Tasted like a kool aid jammer .

This place has a lot of potential ! The flavors are there for the most part ... I just need a little more effort . The fish is questionable but tastes good . Is it really catfish ?? Doesn't seem like it . The shrimp tastes great but they're small . the fries need a ton of work .

Get REAL catfish (this tastes and looks exactly like SWAI FISH 😒😒) , get bigger shrimp , start over with the fries , SEASON THEM ...and maybe make your own juice or lemonade . I'd love...

I’ve eaten here before and the food was good, but my most recent experience was absolutely unacceptable. I placed a DoorDash pickup order within their posted business hours. The order went through, and the app said it was ready for pickup.

When I arrived, I was told they were “closed,” despite multiple people still inside. The employee told me she had refunded my order. I checked right there in front of her, and the app still showed my order as ready for pickup—not refunded. Days later, the order is still marked as completed, and I have yet to receive my money back.

It’s extremely unprofessional to accept an order, mark it as ready, then claim to refund it while customers are left chasing after their own money. I won’t be returning, and I’d strongly recommend anyone think twice before...
