This would be the 1st time we've had their 🐔 fingers, and they were 🔥. The batter and seasoning was on point. The fries could've been fresher, but they were still ok, but the chicken made up for it in taste overall. Then their dirty rice was so good, I coulda swore I was having some of my great aunts or grandma's dressing. And to top it all off, we had drinks to go w/it. Yes, sir. We'll definitely be going back. The service was hospitable, too, and courteous as well as patient.
Ok, this was just posted the other day. But I digress, why?? Bc I was misled and bamboozled. The other day, when I wrote this review above, I thought things were going well. After getting food from them, why is it when you get home you feel as though something is wrong with your order but you got that reassurance from the girl/guy that's running the drive-thru at some places. Well the other day we got food and of course it was something wrong with my order. I ordered 5 chicken tender combo meals(6 pcs), and I was thorough with each one as to which sides all the way down to my drinks. I'd asked for extra tenders, and I had been told that they were there, but they weren't, and I only half of the order, not ALL of it was there. I asked for extra tenders bc they no longer sell the (8pcs) combo meals. So it shows on my receipt where I paid for the extra tenders only to not receive them, requested the (4 extras) and the catfish too, bc I bought them separately and I paid for them as well but they didn't give us our whole order. The drinks didn't taste like why they were sweet tea. It gave off a cinnamon taste. Then we went back today and basically went thru the same thing, just a different day. But this time we had a smaller order and we didn't get sweet tea we had no idea what the heck it was but it couldn't have been tea. They don't believe in giving you cutlery and napkins. They will charge you for stuff you don't even get, but you'll pay for it, or better yet, hear someone running the drive-thru it's in there and it's not really there, oh my goodness I swear I thought they were gonna be way better than Bush's but I guess NOT!!!@#% I've already made my better business complaint a d I've called and sent a message to speak with someone in the corporate office or to be in contact with either a district Mgr or regional Mgr. So I'm in hopes I don't have to do a charge back for all of this bc thus matter needs to be resolved, so I'm lookin to speak with someone...
Read moreCURBSIDE PICK UP AND ONLINE ORDERING IS A LIE AT THIS LOCATION. I placed an online order with curbside pick up at this location and paid online as well. I waited the 31 minute wait time it instructed me to before even leaving my house. When I got there the drive thru line was already wrapped around the building and I parked beside the door. I called to let them know I was there and they said that was fine to go ahead and come in to pick up my order that they'd have it ready in a minute. They blamed labor shortage for the reason that they couldn't bring it out to me. I asked why it wasn't ready to go and they said that they didn't like to pack it immediately because they never knew how long it would take the customer to get there. So, basically, it's the customer's fault if their order isn't ready when they get there. When I went inside a rude employee was leaning on the register and I stated that I'd already paid online to which she answered "Oh, we know you paid online." in a very rude tone before she turned her back and walked away. The other woman behind the counter, who was finishing putting it together, turned and handed me my order. I just walked away at that point. There were TWO people behind that counter so I fail to see why ONE of them couldn't take less then 5 minutes to take a PRE-PAID order out to the car to hand it off. Maybe they felt it was beneath them to do this for a customer because that was definitely the vibe I got. The rude employee didn't seem to be very busy when I went in there if she had time to lean against the counter and speak rudely to a paying customer for the same amount of time it would have taken for the to bring it to the car. If you have mobility issues or any other reason justifying avoiding entering an establishment...AVOID THIS LOCATION. They do not honor the curbside pick up advertised on the website. Don't waste your time with pre-paid online ordering either...it doesn't save you any time because you still have to go inside and wait for your order when...
Read moreI’m a little late posting this because I’m a Sergeant in the U.S. Army stationed in California, and I was visiting Killeen for a short trip. What was supposed to be a decent visit turned into a complete disaster because of this place—and I’ll say it now: I will never come back to Killeen after this experience.
The General Manager, Q, is an absolute disgrace to the title. He spent the entire time holed up in a little room, laughing, talking on the phone, and treating the place like his personal hangout. No leadership, no professionalism—just pure disrespect.
He personally made my food, and it came out raw in the middle. Not undercooked. Raw. That’s not just disgusting—it’s a health risk. A GM serving unsafe food while ignoring customers is beyond unacceptable.
And let’s talk about his attitude: Q was so rude, I was ready to jump over that counter and show him exactly what rudeness gets you. My dad, a military sergeant who doesn’t tolerate disrespect, said he’ll never step foot in that place again. He told me if he hadn’t walked out when he did, he would’ve jumped over that counter himself and taught Q a hard lesson in what rudeness leads to.
It doesn’t stop there. I asked one of the employees about the setup in the back and I was told the fryer is hooked up to an extension cord. That’s a blatant fire code violation. I will be contacting the health inspector and the fire department immediately. This isn’t just bad service—it’s a safety hazard waiting to happen.
And since the owner clearly isn’t paying attention, I’ll be starting a petition to demand Q’s removal. If he’s not gone within 3 days, I’ll be taking this to the news media. The public deserves to know what kind of danger and disrespect is being served here.
If the owner has any pride in their business, they’ll act fast. Because I’m not backing down.
