If I could give this place negative stars I would!!! I went there and waited 20 min for anyone to even begin to take the order after pushing the button. Then I knocked on the window and asked if the thing was working cause it had been a while and nobody had even greeted us or said they would be with us in a moment.... nothing, radio silence. Wjen so.eone came to the window they said they were short staffed and would take my order in a moment... okay no problem. Finally someone took my order. But by that time my 15 month old who was really hungry was screaming crying. So I was a little annoyed. Asked to speak to the Mgr... the guy taking my oder was the manager. He offered NO apology for the wait, or anything. So at the end of my order I politely asked for corporates number. He just said it'll be on the receipt in the most condescending way possible. I said okay. Then another 25 min do by and I still haven't received my food. So again I go to knock on the window and politely ask to speak to the manager. To which the employee says its going to be a minute you'll get your food. I say okay, well can I please speak to a manager. I've been here over half an hour... almost an hour and haven't even gotten my order and my 15 month old daughter is crying in the back, because she is so hungry. She replies with THE MOST attitude and says, he's gonna tell you the same thing I just did.... so I said can I still speak with him, then he came out and basically said the same thing and so I asked if their was anyone above him I could speak with. He just replied to put in a complaint with the number on the receipt. As I was walking away two people in separate cars parked right in front of where I was speaking with the manager who had their windows rolled down the entire time... leaned out to tell me they had been their a while too and that the staff was verry rude to them as well. It was at this time the guy was walking out with my order and told me to stop winding people up and causing a scene and accused me of speaking loud so they could hear my complaints to the Mgr. Excuse me!!?? I was speaking politely and in a normal tone, I can't help that they were literally parked right there and overheard me... and didn't like the treatment they were receiving either.... I explained that to him and added on that I had been very polite but was frustrated because my daughter was crying screaming from hunger and we had only been treated verry rudly by staff thus far. HE THEN YELLED AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS AT ME AND MY DAUGHTER "TO HAVE SOME GOD DAMN PATIENCE" literally those words. At me and my crying toddler cause she was hungry. So when I finally put the complaint in with corporate all they did was "yeah we spoke with them, we apologize." And offered to give me ONE of the things I paid for, for free if I came back in. Not both our meals and not a refund. She said she couldn't do a refund. 1st I don't want to go back there so I would like a refund, AND second if I did go back there, you seriously couldn't give me both my daughters meal and mine free. Those people DO NOT NEED TO BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE OR IN BUSINESS PERIOD. nice way to treat your customers. The first crew member taking my order instructed me to download the app for the promotional discount I had received via text message earlier that morning. I downloaded the app, transferred money to a digital gift card to place the order, and saw no option to apply the promotional discount. I'll pay $5 for two cups of ice cream but there is no way I'd be willing to pay $10 so I rang back in. The crew member seemed somewhat confused on what I was asking, that could have been my fault, (I know that I have a soft voice and maybe it was misheard) but we eventually got the order through with the promotional discount applied. I paid using the money I had transferred with the app and waited for the food. The blasts came out with no napkins which was a bit unfortunate, however, they tasted amazing. I was disappointed that they no longer came with whipped cream but that isn't this particular locations fault and with it being such a high calorie treat it isn't really needed regardless. The carhop was very quick and friendly. The entire process took a ridiculous amount of time due to the initial hangup with the app, I really wish the first crew member would have been more knowledgeable with their current promotions. Read moreI feel like this location has some problems with staff. It doesn't look maintained that well and the wait to order was quite a while although it did not look like many other people were there.
The price point seems to have gone up sense my last visit to a sonic but thats happening everywhere. I was disappointed to see some of my favorite items taken off the menu but I think those decisions happen at corporate so nothing against this location. Those Asian Zing wings and that Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich will always have a special place in my heart.
When I finally got it food was good for a sonic. The ingredients were more fresh than I expected and my burger was great. They did have to make a second trip to give me the sauce for my mozzarella sticks. I am not sure what it is with Sonic's business model but this happens more often than it doesn't to the point I just expect them to forget the sauce.
All in all it was ok for a Sonic. I am not sure if I will be back though. It took a long time and at the price I feel like I could have gone to a proper restaurant.
