Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Killeen

I thought the staff was quite polite, but I ordered the grande meal, which is supposed to have 8 pieces of chicken and 8 tenders. Got home wanting the wing and leg, and there was only FOUR pieces of chicken, (along with the tenders),which consisted of 3 thighs and 1 breast. What the heck? If asked would we mind waiting for chicken to be cooked, would have gladly waited, especially so we don't get 3 thighs and 1 breast. OMG. Gave this place another try on 11-5-2022. Was told at the speaker there would be a 20 minute wait for legs and thighs. Told them that's fine, ( no one else in line), at the window the young man told me the chicken actually was about to come up, but please pull forward. My receipt time stamped 8:14p.m. watched about 10 cars pull in, order and drive off. I thought, geez, everyone wants only white meat? At 8:45p.m. I drove back into line, the guy on the speaker (same as before), said there is a 20 minute wait for legs and thighs. I said, ' Another 20 minutes, I don't think so. I have been waiting since 8:14 and all those cars couldn't have wanted white meat only'. He had the nerve to ask what I ordered. I could hear the young man from the window saying my order. I demanded a refund. NEVER NEVER NEVER going there again. It's better to go to the one on Stan Schleuter, it's got a different owner and I have always loved the...

I give one star because the service i received was beyond horrible… I was asked 3 times for my order and each time I said I wanted the 2 piece spicy with 2 legs…. And for my drink I wanted light ice…. The first issue is they handed me my drink with EXTRA ICE knowing that I asked for light ice… and said it was because they didn’t feel like replacing the drink filter… then…. I check my food and they gave me a leg and a thigh that was not spicy. So not only did I have to repeat myself multiple times, my order still came out wrong so I had to get out of the drive thru and go inside to get my food… the THE MANAGER IS SUPER RUDE!!!!! She had an attitude when fixing my order and tried to throw my fries that were fresh out of the grease directly into a plastic bag as if it wouldn’t melt thru smh…. I then asked to try their new signature hot sauce because that was my first time trying church’s … they wouldn’t give it to me because it was 27 cents… smh after spending $12 for food that was incorrect and having to get out of the car, you would think satisfying a visibly upset customer would be more more important that a 27 cent sauce… safe to say I will never return to this location…. The food was good but I don’t play about GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE so they won’t get another red...

Food is good and not too expensive. The workers have been polite every time I've gone through although you can sometimes overhear them joking around in the drive through when taking orders. While a little unprofessional I think it's harmless. I've never been inside since I've always gone through the drive thru. The main problem that you'll have is waiting on your food. Sometimes they'll have what you want and sometimes they won't. If they have what you ordered then you're gonna be Gucci. If they don't it can be a wait from anywhere from 10 to around 40 minutes depending how many people they have waiting. So if you're in a hurry or can't wait I'd go to the other restaurants nearby. The food's good but is it worth waiting for? Eh if you don't see any cars parked in front or a car in the drive thru then yeah. I'd wait for a little bit, otherwise if I were you I'd try something else. Last thing I'll say is that they often give you the wrong sauce so make...
