Our first experience was decent with much room for improvement.
The good: The delivery order arrived on time. After part of the order was forgotten at the store, a manager offered a credit to make up for the inconvenience. We appreciated the customer service.
The not-so-good: The pizza was warm when it arrived, but cooled down quickly, as if reheated prior to delivery and not thoroughly cooked. Other poor observations:
The cheese was thick and sticky with the consistency of glue. The pizza was built with a lot of bread—like biting into a sandwich; probably the thickest pizza we have eaten. There was not a lot of sauce, but what there was seemed light in flavor. The pizza slices were dry and nearly tasteless; we added Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to liven it. Some of the ingredients did not seem fresh; some of the pepperoni tasted acidic and off-putting so we picked them off. The ingredients were spread thin and sparse as if the kitchen had been asked to limit the quantity of toppings.
Unfortunately, this all anecdotal and subjective; we had hoped for a better experience. Perhaps a future encounter will...
Read moreSo I’m a recurring customer and tonight I order an extra large pizza. To may understanding that consist of 12 slices. So I call after getting home and ask why I received a large pie instead of a XLarge. The response I got was oh it is an XLarge they just forgot to cut two of the slices in half. So my question was I don’t get four whole slices I get eight regular slices with two of those slices cut in half. When no one could answer my question I was put on hold for 5 minutes, so I hang up and call back the same person(Debra) places me on hold again, I call back and another women answers telling me the manager Rob is busy and he can’t come to the phone. So at this point I know they know they’re wrong. Giving me the run around is bad business. Where is that ok, I paid for 12 regular slices and that’s what I should get. Don’t steal from the community that is supporting your business. The only reason I rated with two stars is because the pizza is good. I will surely spread the word to others before they buy that XLarge...
Read moreI used to love Marcos but my last 3 experiences have been terrible. The last 2 times we ordered delivery our salads were forgotten. I was told they would refund me and that didn't happen either time. I went today for pick up. Recieved an email at 4:15 that my order was ready for pick up. I get to the location at about 4:25 because I was close by. I didn't receive my food until 4:45. I had a total of 3 people ask if I was helped. The first two asked for the order name and then never came back and proceeded to ignore me at the window. Finally a 3rd worker came up and asked it I was helped and had my pizza and drinks to me within minutes while the other two workers leaned against the counter rolling their eyes at me. I never made a fuss until the 3rd person came up and I let them know I had been waiting 20min and nobody was informing me what was going on with my food.
