A family member recommended that I try the tea at HTea-O.
This being my first time visit I was fortunate enough to have a customer that had exited the store walking to her car. As we were approaching each other I asked her if there was a flavor she would recommend. She told me her favorite was Sweet Texas Chai. I thanked her for the recommendation and entered the store.
Once inside an employee asked if I needed any help. I told her this was my first time visiting this business and that I normally drink sweet tea and asked what she would recommend. She told me the same flavor as the customer I had talked with outside, Sweet Texas Chai.
Based on both the customer and employee recommendations I purchased a gallon of Sweet Texas Chai and found it to have the Chai flavor and can understand why it was recommended.
I’ve been back twice since then and have tried other flavors.
I would recommend you visit this business if you would like to try flavored teas. The only teas I’ve seen, all have been iced.
I’ve seen a line of vehicles in the drive-thru but I’ve been in and out quickly when I’ve...
Read moreTried HTeaO for the first time, and I won’t be back. Just tried HTeaO for the first time, even though I'm not much of a tea drinker. But hey, they have coffee too, so why not? I ordered an horchata iced coffee, a peach poppi, and a mint watermelon tea for me and my girls through the drive-thru.
The experience? Let's just say it wasn’t the best. When I got to the window, the staff member greeted us with a look of pure annoyance. I asked for dill pickle kettle chips, which seemed to make her even more irritated. She shut the window, came back to say they didn’t have them, and then took my payment in total silence. No acknowledgment, no smile, nothing—just handed me my card and receipt and closed the window. I mean...wow.
Oh, and the horchata iced coffee? Definitely not what I expected. It doesn’t taste like horchata at all—it’s just super cinnamon-heavy, but honestly, it’s still a solid sugary iced coffee, so there’s that!
Overall, I’m giving it another shot, but it’s definitely not the best first impression. #HTeaO #FirstImpression...
Read moreMy daughter and I just tried this for the first time yesterday, we shared a cup of Sweet Peach Cobbler, in case we didn't like it lol Well, we loved it & went back again today for to try the Sweet Georgia Peach, which we also loved!!
We've already decided that we'll be going weekly to try new flavors each week!!
We went through the drive-thru both times, but seeing the cool interior described in the other reviews, we may just venture inside for our next trip!!
For those complaining of only having cold tea options, while I can respect your opinion & desire, I just don't think there's as much demand for Hot tea as there is for Iced tea. I mean, you are after all, in the South...home to ice cold sweet tea...so you really can't blame the store for that. That would be like going up north & complaining they didn't have sweet tea (already made up, not taking unsweet & add your own sugar/sweetener...not the same thing...even remotely...at all lol) or going to England and then complaining they did not have iced tea. I feel it's more of a...
