Was not ok, I let them know it was my first time there had to yell my order out. Repeated 3 times it was my first time there was embarrassed in front of the other customers in line. The sign says extremely large potato so I asked for it to be cut in half they looked angry, young man in the front and the young lady was cutting the meat mumbled to each other I thought the it was huge was going to be as large as the advertisement stated, instead of him wanting to cut the potato length wise he wanted to cut it round who does that young people. So I offered to pay extra for container or whatever was needed. Once I saw how small the potato was, that explained everything and why they were looking angry, but keep in mind I told them several times 1st time there. I said please give me 2 potatoes I explained I thought the sign meant very large and I had to ask what comes on them. I asked for a pound of brisket and 1/2 pound of sausage asked her to cut the sausage up she cut is in long 4 slices.I thought it would be in small round pieces. Asked can I have sauce young man gave me that asked if they had peppers and onions over on the side pointed to the salad bar keep in mind first time here never was offered any bread, and didn't get any, went over to the area where silverware was located 2 young ladies looking at me as if to say what is she doing instead of asking can we help you I had to ask them if they worked there. The selection of meats is outstanding, featuring options like beef brisket (my favorite💯), turkey, chicken, and various sausages. Each item is cooked to perfection, with rich flavors that will satisfy any BBQ lover. The sides are equally impressive, with delicious choices like creamed corn, potato salad, and baked beans, just to name a few.

Read moreWent in at 3:00 in the afternoon. Figured it would be a breeze, because no one was there. One customer in front of me, she was a employee. Another person came in behind me. The employee was served, and the meat cutter disappeared. I gave my order, to go, and the cutter showed up. The server who waited on me gave my order to the cutter. She sliced two of the three meats I ordered, stopped to show a customer the baby back ribs, then sliced his order before she finished mine. What?! Hey?! I then proceeded to get my tea, unsweetened. Low and behold NO TEA. I walked back to the counter to inquire about tea, and the brilliant girl goes” is it empty?” Then one of the employees comes out of the back to brew the tea. “Oh it won’t take long”. I’m so glad these employees know that I have all the time in the world to wait on them to decide to do their job! All in all employees were in the kitchen area laughing, and joking, going around passing out treats to the other employees. I don’t want someone who is handling my food putting their fingers in their mouth while handling my food. Period. What was this a social instead of preparing for the next rush?! I’ve come in there many times, usually spend between $35.00 to $50.00. The food is good standard Texas bbq. I can find good standard Texas bbq elsewhere, and I will! Bye...
