I visited this Subway location today at 1:37 am. I was the only vehicle in the parking lot when i pulled up at that time. Unfortunately as i finished parking, I realized that I was parked in a handicapped parking space. Even before I made it to the entrance, there was a "security officer by the name of A. Smith meeting me at the door with quite an assertive demeanor. He lets me know that i was parked illegally, then goes on to lecture me about Subway's rules and policies. I explained to him why I opted out of moving at the time being that it was 36 degrees outside. Again, there were no other vehicles in the parking lot nor in the vicinity. He unnecessarily awares me that Subway has the right to refuse service to anyone going against their policies. I comply and move my vehicle to a different location. I go in to be served and also ask the person working about their policies and right to refuse service. The whole time I sense this "gentleman" standing behind me being a little over observant of our conversation. I realized that he was carrying so I decided not to continue speaking of the situation feeling uncomfortable and in fear of my well-being. Unfortunately I leave disappointingly without what I intended to purchase. I also see him writng down my license plate information as if I was a potential provicator of some sort of crime "profiling". I do understand that this particular location has had some unfortunate situations as far as robberies and irate guests in which I intended not to be a part of at all. The main objective of any business is to be most profitable as well as make their guests feel welcome and appreciated. None one these objectives were executed during this visit. I honestly feel sympathy for anyone who may resemble me and has had to go through an experience anything similar to mines at any time at this location. That is the sole reason I will be reaching out to any higher echelon of management responsible for this location being that they may be losing out on potential profit as well as further patriotism of their establishment all because of some type of "security enforcement officer" going out of his way to make an...
Read moreThis review is for 12/15/23 and not for the Subway I actually bought food from. Before I went to get food from the Subway on Old FM 44 and Central Texas Expw... I actually stopped first at the subway off of Watercrest and Clear Creek Rd because I had just left an appt. So I pulled at that Subway to grab from and there was an employee literally leaning out the door smoking. When I parked to come in she gave me a side eye, looked at her watch, rolled her eyes then tossed out her cigarette or whatever she was smokin, then walked inside. Instead of dealing what whatever attitude she was gonna give for me coming to her store, I just left. She was giving bad vibes and I was not here for that.
My trip to my regular subway was as awesome as usually. Fast, friendly service and the food was good.
Love the new sandwiches but the 4 star rating is for the new food prep area that was added as a part of the remodel of the subway on old FM 440 and central Texas Expy. Even though the manager was holding up the line but talking to the customer before me, the girl who made my sandwich was quick and efficient and when she was done and saw so one else in the store, she drops the glass barrier, that used to never move, over the food so it now becomes a covered see thru fridge that keeps everything fresh and safe from flies and what not. I was so excited by the transformer act I cussed a little bit. That was an excellent addition to the prep area. I also love the new look of the seating areas, the pickup station and the new drinks....
Read moreThe cop that sits there overnight waited for my sister and I to walk out to motion the "talking too much" signal to the cashier. And they started talking amongst themselves. I could have went back in there to ask if we had a problem but instead I just prayed for them. And recorded them....I wasn't aware that talking to my sister about what we were going to order was "too much talking"!!! SMH! I guess that's what is expected from a 24 hr establishment. Im not really surprised by the cop / security guard she plays her role very well......UNPROFESSIONAL AND CHILDISH! AND SUPER RUDE! Also, the manager was rushing us which was not cool either smh. She repeatedly kept asking "What can I get for you" even after we told her we were not ready! I ought to go get my money back but its not even...
