I really believe that you have to give places a chance, especially when you drive by them often. I mean, imagine that you pass by the best ice cream shop in the state everyday heading to work but you never stop in to check it out. The old adage "you only get one time to make a first impression" is appropriate but you need to make it through the door as well.
Anyhow, we stopped in mid-day to have lunch. It wasn't super busy but active enough that the waitresses were going non-stop. We ordered a beef quesadilla and the Supreme burrito. (I asked the waitress about the difference between it and the Burrito Los Cabos and she suggested the choice we made.)
I will be honest here and say a mishap happened with the order and the waitress recognized it and it was rectified. That says a lot to me about service when a waitress addresses the issue immediately and without getting emotional (whether defensive or frustrated.) And that earns some stars here.
The house salsa, burrito and quesadilla were good. From the photos and videos, you can see the filling to tortilla ratio and make your own assumptions. The menu had several other items on it and I really should have asked about what the house specialty and most ordered items were. But, it is a pleasant atmosphere and I can imagine a lazy afternoon on their covered patio...
Read moreFinally stopped here for lunch today. Ordered the Ceviche. It was rancid/rank/putrid. It had a sour smell, and it was equally sour tasting. When it was served it was not cold. Just slightly cool. I took one bite and I was afraid to swallow it. I took a second small bite and I spit it out as I was able to confirm right away that my first reaction wasn’t wrong. I picked up another piece with my fork and held it up to my nose. It smelled bad. I don’t even know how to describe it. That’s when I realized it tastes the same way it smelled. My companion smelled it and he agreed. They were polite enough not to charge me for the food or the drink. I was willing to pay for my drink but not the food. It’s unfortunate. It’s a nice looking restaurant. The descriptions of their menu items seem really appealing. But someone on their team clearly doesn’t care to do their job right. This is a big deal. People can and have died from food poisoning. Improper food handling can cost someone their life. Someone has clearly invested money into this restaurant. It’s clean, nicely painted, wait staff is decent. But all of that means nothing if you’re serving food that can make people sick. I hope this issue is addressed. And not for me personally as I won’t be coming back. But for future patrons. And for the overall success of...

The service was fantastic, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. The food? Hands down the best Mexican cuisine in the area — fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Every bite was a win.
The atmosphere has something for everyone. There's a comfortable indoor dining space, bar seating for those who want to catch the game or skip the table vibe, and a covered porch out front for a more laid-back feel. I love that they offer options like that — it makes the space work for different moods.
In my Gen X-er voice, I love that they didn’t strip away the old Pizza Hut bones — they embraced it and made it their own, with great updates like the bar in the center and a design that fits their vibe perfectly.
Our only note: the main indoor area does get pretty loud, especially during busy times. Voices carry, and it can be a little overwhelming if you're sensitive to noise. But honestly, that’s a small trade-off for everything else this place gets right.
Great food. Great people. Great vibe. We’ll...
