UPDATE:. 5/26/2019 I FOUND THE RESTAURANT!!!!! I was so disappointed that I called them to let them know they were not easily located. The young lady was nice enough to come out side and wave me down. They are located now inside a plaza and not a food truck. Right beside a tattoo parlor. I promised to come back....and come back I did! I had the Al Pastor tacos with the peppers and cactus! The flavor of the pork in the tacos... I needed NO salsa. I had min without the cilantro because I feel it over powers the flavor of anything you eat. The pork was juicy, flavorful and plenty in the taco shell. They wrap the taco I. Two shells so the taco is not soggy. The cactus... Was tender and very tasty. You can taste the salt and the seasoning on it. I'd recommend this place w to anyone who is visiting, who lives or is stationed at Ft. Hood (not even a mile from the base entrance) on Rancier Ave/Rd. Great food for an AWESOME price.

Best Mexican restaurant in the Killeen area, I've been to this place many times and have never left dissatisfied. The inside is very inviting and has an authentic Mexican asthethic. There's a lot of seating inside and you get complementary chips and salsa when you dine in. The employees are friendly. It's always packed during lunch due to the soldiers from the base nearby so I don't recommend stopping by if you don't have the time. Although the wait time isn't bad even when it's packed. The food is delicious I especially recommend their street tacos. They have almost every type of meat for their tacos with birria and chorizo and they're usually always in stock. All their food is pretty good though, they even have an ice cream and Mexican cart style desserts. If you stop by check out the chock-flan.

When you see other reviews mention the portion size, believe that. I’m not a fan of places that you order at the counter and they ask for a tip, but that is my personal preference. Today, I was given my glass of water and my food was brought to me. No follow up service or refills. So, to me that doesn’t warrant a tip. For the food. I ordered fajitas beef and chicken. The presentation was nice with the hot sizzling skillet. But the meat itself had no flavor or seasoning. I was given 3 corn tortillas and barely enough meat to make the 3 tacos. Even the taco salsas didn’t add much to the flavor. The charro beans were actually very good and flavorful. Overall, nothing that has me planning to return.

We happen to drive through the area on our way back home from San Antonio and found this place after we had a bad experience in another local taqueria a few minutes from this. I am glad we found them! The place was nice and clean. The ladies were really welcoming and guided us through the order process. The service was great! We also LOVED the bread from the bakery!! It’s so soft and delicious. Reminds me of the panaderías from Mexico. Definitely recommend this place if you need somewhere to eat!!

Updated: The Mangonadas were delicious!!! My hubby had strawberry version. So yummy with chamoy and candies. They have a wide variety of other desserts too. We saw a family get 2 huge banana splits. My friend got some ice cream and added cheese cake to it. 🥰 We went back again and at lunch. Birria taco plate was awesome. Nice crunch on tortilla and meat was tender. Our friends got all the other plates and said everything was so tasty. I sampled the brisket nachos and they were good.

Best taco place here in Killeen/ Fort Hood. We followed them since they had their food truck days. Tacos de al pastor are good and barbacoa. Their burritos are also good also they have churros if you ask. Everything is reasonable price and worth it. In the left side they have ice cream place with Mexican desserts and shaved ice cream. So yummy!! They serve really fast even when it’s lunch time and it gets very busy. Restrooms are clean.
