I’ve been collecting cards since I was a kid — this hobby has always been about passion and nostalgia for me, not profit. So this experience was extremely disappointing. I bought a 3-pack of 1988 Topps here at $7 per pack, hoping to pull the Bo Jackson rookie card — one of my favorite players of all time.

Two packs were sealed correctly and in original factory order. The third one was not — it had clearly been opened and re-sealed, and the cards inside were mixed and out of sequence.

I’ll be honest — I didn’t look closely at the packs when I bought them. I trusted the shop. That’s the part that stings. You shouldn’t have to second guess whether a local vendor is selling honest product, especially in a hobby built on authenticity.

This wasn’t a mistake. This was a re-sealed pack being sold as “sealed.” That’s dishonest. And when it comes from the owner, it’s even worse.

I used to enjoy coming here and supporting a local shop, but once trust is broken, I’m done. If you're going to sell “sealed” vintage packs, sell them sealed — or don’t sell them at all.

Stop by at least a few times every month and must give this antique and vintage store a big five star review. The store lives up to its name exactly...Antique Up. Recycled antiques galore mixed with one of a kind art, vintage and absolutely antique pieces. I've purchased antique plates over 100 years old, vintage furniture, jewelry, home accessories . It's always fun shopping here, easy to social distance and clean....which is very difficult to maintain or enforce for some shops with booth renters. Not only is half the stuff their vendors sell not antique but they also let their vendors sell AI generated art. Extremely disappointed. Feels like a giant garage sale from some bored housewife's basement.

Edit: wow what a backhanded, rude reply! I truly don't think the owners understand what an antique mall is supposed to be. It's not a craft fair. And I will not fill out an application because I will not associate myself with a buisness that allows AI generated art through its doors.
