Teriyaki Lovers — Restaurant in Kimberly

Upon entering the restaurant had a sparse, but clean atmosphere. The young man behind the register was eating noodles right after taking my order. My food was cooked fresh and somehow I got my food before the couple who entered before me. There are two 4 place tables and two 2 place wall spots. A large group entered after me so I took my food to leave. I recognized the cook from Sarku in the fox river mall. I ordered the mega as that is something not on Sarku's menu. I did not see any hot sauce available and none was offered. Normally I would have asked for another scoop of the sauce, but I failed to do so (which I regret). The flavor was different than Sarku. Half of my meal did not taste of teriyaki, only soy sauce and whatever the beef is marinated in. All of the teriyaki sauce was soaked into the rice on half the dish. It was overall okay, but not great. I will give it another chance. It is much closer to my house that the mall. The prices are just a bit higher and sadly no loyalty program. Such a gem located in our small community! After reading many wonderful reviews about this new addition, we decided to give it a whirl! The food was great tasting, fresh, and flavorful. We ordered online, which was super simple, but it minimized our interaction with the employees, but there were 2 gentlemen inside when I picked up the order. They were friendly and welcomed me with a smile. The atmosphere was bright and the location pristine. When I opened the door, the smell roped me in. I couldn't wait to take it home and eat dinner. We will definitely be going there soon! I don't like China Gate and while Festival Foods offers an Asian flair, it's American Asian at best. This was so good. So happy to welcome Teriyaki Lovers...

Perfect family dinner idea. Very friendly workers. I’ve ordered a few times now, placing my order online and it is always ready quickly. It is very convenient that they take Apple Pay as this time it was a spontaneous decision to order and I didn’t have my wallet on me. I can’t think of another restaurant where you can get the amount of food they give you for such a low price. My kids love the teriyaki chicken with white rice.
