Ideal Home Bakery — Restaurant in Kingsburg

I have a Tramatic Brain Injery and as a result I have a very highly trained and exspencive little sevice dog that is suppose to be with me at all times. As I walked in the lady said to me I had to leave and could not come in. I tried to explain it to her, but she did not cair but insisted that I leave immediately. She was very rude to me and mean. I went out and quickly called the county health department. They said they would talk to her. It wasn't as much that she didn't know the law, but how she treated me. It was my first time to kingsburg and the first and only store to try and shop at. I don't think I want to go back there. My dog is very clean and well mannered. My daughter is in LOVE with concha so as a treat after grocery shopping I like to get her her own pan. We normally go to a place dinuba but I decided to check out Ideal Home since it’s closer to home. The place looks like stepping into a little bakery in Mexico! It’s got piñatas hanging from the ceiling, Mexican spices, candies, pan, and pretty much everything you would expect from a little Mexican corner store. The gentleman who served us was kind and personable. And these concha’s were some of the best I’ve had, tasted like fresh baked that morning. Almost authentic. Been here several times. So I feel i can share my opinion. The bread is good and the prices are good but the owners are not cultured in Mexican traditions. I went in on Dia de los muertos and middle aged lady behind counter had no clue about the tradition. No pan de muerto, another patron was asking her about bread and cempasúchil flower. She said she didn't know anything about that. I guess it's white wash understandably, just wish it was actually authentic. Gentrification...
