Really gone downhill. This has been our favorite restaurant for a long time, but now more and more frequently the food is inedible and goes right in the trash. We have easily spent thousands of dollars here over the years and have generally loved it, but it's getting very frustrating to get served garbage and not have the management or staff care at all.
Recently i got the tempura shishito peppers and they were black fuzzy molded and rotten inside. Tonight i got the most putrid looking sashimi of my life, one had yellow spots like it was clearly rotting, and the others were nasty and crumbling apart indicating the meat is super old. Nobody at this restaurant cares. I tried to bring it up with the staff and got a vacant eyed blank stare. Look i get it, mistakes happen, but this is not a mistake, this is lack of care about fellow human beings and food safety plain and simple. So yeah, i would rather lose $23 than be barfing for 2 days from rotten fish.
I should mention i ordered 2 hours in advance to have the food ready at 7:30 and it was still not ready until almost 8.
None of this matters though, none of them care at all. They got their money, that's all...

Our recent 1/2 DZ or so experiences have included incorrect orders, cold food that shouldāve been hot, and even some clearly spoiled ingredients (we were served blackened, rotten peppers hidden under what looked like a fresh fried crust).
Weāve tried to reach out - called the store, submitted feedback through the online order links, but nothing ever seems to change. It honestly feels like no oneās listening, and thatās really disheartening.
I didnāt want to leave a negative review, but after multiple attempts to get in touch and give feedback directly, I feel like I have no choice. I canāt imagine weāre the only ones having...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI entered the restaurant and was greeted by a staff member who asked me to take a seat anywhere. I sat there for five minutes before a young lady approached me and inquired if I was dining in. I confirmed, and with very bad attitude said I needed to speak to someone before taking a seat and taking my order. Her attitude was deliberately rude to make me aware of this rule. As if it mattered at this point, clearly wanting to make a point.
I politely declined her offer and left the restaurant. Itās unfortunate that a small business would treat customers this way, especially on their first visit. As a business owner myself, I would be horrified if any of my employees ever behaved in such a manner...
