El Ranchito Family Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Kingsport

First we were sat at a dirty table by rude staff.. Secondly the food is extremely bland and flavorless!! My husband had hard tacos and a bean burrito the beef had no seasoning or taste. I had the chicken fajitas which tasted like plain boiled chicken, no flavor at all!! We went to checkout and the guy just literally walks away from the register to wait tables leaving us standing there forever until the older gentlemen (the manager I assume) came to check us out.. This is by far the WORST dining experience we have had!! I have to say the best part was the waitress which is saying a lot! Don't waste your money here, you'd be better off cooking your own Mexican meal than this! I would definitely give 0 stars if possible!! The rest of these reviews we read that enticed us to eat here have to be fake by friends or family...

Thought we would try this based on the reviews read and the years in business. Have to say we were really disappointed. Ordered the enchiladas ranchitos which said it came with 5 enchiladas all with different fillings and well the enchiladas were raw and only got 4. Only the chicken enchilada was filled properly. Also ordered the carnitas which had no flavor. Served with rice and beans and a salad which had we known I would not have gotten the salad. Also carnitas is pork chunks with onions and what we got was pernil otherwise known as shredded pork . If it wasn't for the onions. There would be no taste. Really disappointed.

Owner responded with we finished our plates and we won. It was take out and had no idea until we got home and unpacked the food . So no we did not...

FIRST OFF!!!I just noticed this, but look at the one star reviews and how this company responded so poorly and with such an attitude to the previous complaints from other customers …… now to my one star story….We placed a call in order. Went to the store picked it up and took it home. Once I started eating my taco salad I noticed the hamburger meat had places in it where the meat was uncooked… when I called they said they would replace it but simply could not offer any compensation for the fact that I have to stop eating with my family and make the 25 minute drive back..all just to pick up food, again, that should have been cooked fully the first...
