Waffle House — Restaurant in Kingsport

I swear it's pretty bad when u go in a restaurant and have to wait for I know 20 mins. Then I order our food we order the same thing every time and it's simple. I order double hash browns with cheese,onions and chili just a lil on side is fine and 2 scrambled eggs with cheese. How hard is that.. she brings us a bowl of chili with a slice of cheese I said no it's was cheese and onions on the hash browns and just a lil chili.. she just looked at me and went to the man who just walked in and sat behind us.. must j mention she hollered at him to sit there soon as he walked in door, proceeds to start telling him how much she loves him. Never offers to take this big awful bowl of chili with a slice of cheese.. then brings hashbrown and eggs and not a bit of cheese on anything. She finally took it back after I walked out had cheese added to hashbrowns and brought back still no cheese on eggs.. I had just walked back in to tell my husband to eat his. But I didn't want it.. I walked out after telling her I didn't want it.. he comes out with a bag and had mine in it. I didn't ask for recooked food twice and a server that was more interested in letting someone know how much she loves him.. if that's more important shes needs to go home.. I loved waffle house but this was line for me.. not to mention they had the nerve to charge him for the food anyway. I went in on 4/12/23 I got me a steak melt 3 scramble eggs and bread to make an egg sandwich. I asked for the bread not to grilled and not cut. The cook decided I wanted toast and it cut. Before the cook made these choices I tried to get his attention. I did everything short of throwing something at this kid and he ignored me. When he bagged it up and handed it to me I told him I asked for bread with nou heat and not cut. Other customers noticed this as the cook was so confused and mad when I asked for bread. If they listened in the first place no mistakes would have been made. It was not that busy. Then when it was corrected I asked for a mayo packet and the girl that took the order put like 20 packets of mustard and 20 packets of ketchup. Not going to lie, I was slightly disappointed. I never had issues with this location when this happened. No I don't want a refund, no I don't want the order remade. I rather eat where people at least listen. P.S sorry...

Jackie my server GREAT!!!! Sweet! Older woman who didn't so much for us. The line cook on the other hand that's over 3rd shift waited till our waitress was gone then came to us (only two that was in the place) decided to dis the waitress over. A tip I left saying they should split. She cook was annoyed I didn't tip then when I know the cook and waitress make different wages. It was frustrating and we were going to sit and relax after a bad day. We wanted to sit and talk. But after hearing the leader dis the waitress, I didn't want to continue sitting there. I loved Jackie didn't appreciate the 3rd shift person who ever she thought she was all high and mighty. It annoyed me she came to our table to gossip about things we didn't need to hear. Was disrespectful and unprofessional. The food was good service was good till the end...
