CHOPSTIX — Restaurant in Kingsville

I have been here 20 minutes and just finally was asked if we would like to order. Now, don't think I'm being picky here, but when there are only 2 other tables of guests and there are two other employees hanging out in the corner it's not acceptable. I'd also like to add if you're dining with a child don't let them seat you at the booths to the left, as our distracted 3 year old is now jealous of the young boy in the adjoining room that gets to play with the punching bag. Looks like a buffet (and comes up as one on google) but it's not, you do however get fruit and dessert self serve after your order, which is cool. I haven't even had the food but with the lack of service and gross bathrooms(both clogged and somebody crapped on the trash can) I don't really see it going up from here. I'd also like to add that it's hilarious that the place is called chopstix but you sit down...

Place looks grate inside and out but they don't have buffet any more and the server is extremely uneducated... We had some questions that should have been basic knowledge or a simple walk to the back and ask the cook... He assured us that all the shrimp was devained and didn't know what "MSG" was... Well when we got our food shrimp had vains and the orange peel chicken damn near killed me from my allergy to MSG since I didn't eat all of my chicken I am to assume that a toxic amount was used in the making of my dish... I had extreme pains in my left arm for days that started almost an hour after eating. Other then that Price's are decent for the amount of food you get and the sushi was really good its why this rating is a 2 rating could be higher if thier standards went up and the server knowledge of the food he sells to his customer's...

I stopped in for lunch today out of pure chance I found this place. The atmosphere is really nice and very cool on a hot Texas summer day. I had pepper beef, my son had garlic chicken, my wife had the four seasons and my 7-year-old had some California rolls and pot stickers. The food came to the table really hot so you know it just came off the fire. My pepper beef was very good, a little too much onion but that is ok I got around it and ate nearly everything. My only issue with the restaurant is that the booth we sat at was rather stiff. I didn't care too much for a straight back booth chair and it made it rather painful to sit at.
