Iām not one to typically leave reviews but this had to be said. I really enjoy most Pizza Hutās. However, this Pizza Hut is likely the worst in the State. I have been to this location several times, usually every time I visit Kingsville. Each time I have a negative experience. I really hoped it would get better, but I will be avoiding this Pizza Hut from now on. My most recent bad experience was a few days ago. The restaurant does not close until Midnight, as advertised on their website and their front door. I arrived a few minutes before 10pm. I stood by the counter waiting to be seated for dine-in for nearly 10 minutes. An employee was on the phone staring at me the entire time but did not offer to have me seated. This same employee would continuously run his hands through his greasy hair before returning to touching things. Over and over his hands went through his hair and I never saw him wash his hands after. It was truly disgusting to witness this at a food service location. After the 10 minute wait, he hung up the phone and approached me and my girlfriend. He asked, ādine in or carry outā? I informed him that we wanted to dine in. He then walked past us and toward the exit and said, āsomeone will be with you in a minuteā. A few minutes later, another employee approached us and asked the same question. When we told him dine-in, he the said that dine-in was already closed, despite the business still being open for another 2 hours. This was very frustrating. I would understand if they were really busy and couldnāt keep up with orders, but that did not appear to be the case. This employee then went over to a table where some friends of his were sitting and told them that their pizza would be out in a few minutes. It was obvious that they were dining in. He didnāt even seem to care that I could hear him and knew he was lying about dine-in being closed. All I can conclude is that you need to be friends with the employees to get decent service at this Pizza Hut. All I can say is eat here at your own risk. I hope that if you do your experience will be better than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was a Sunday afternoon, it was rather warm outside and my family of four thought it would be a good idea to get food at the local Pizza Hut after church. We headed in to the store and every one looked at us like we were aliens. I am a middle aged white male my wife is Filipina and my kids well they are mixed. The hint of racism was in the air, it was like them old comedy shows when the color people show up and everyone stops to stair. Nothing the restaurant can help, it is a community thing. This is nothing new to me as it has happened to me and my family quite often. The waitress said to seat ourselves and we did in TV room on the far left corner as you walk in. We requested the lunch buffet and four drinks. One ice tea, one orange Fanta, one Dr Pepper and one lemonade. My family left for the buffet and they got some food. I thought it was the end of the buffet so the pizza had to be running low, so I thought. Between me and my family we made two to three rounds gathering what we thought was the end of the pizza buffet. We drank everything and were left rather high and dry. The waitresses never came by again to ask if we were ok or if we needed refills on the drinks as my son and I had literally downed ice tea and lemonade on a hot Texas afternoon. My family left with a half full belly and utter disappointment. I left no tip as the waitresses didnāt seam to care. As we left my wife and I both noticed that suddenly as we were leaving all the pizzas that we would have loved to try showed up. Was this planned to give us a bad experience so the mixed couple wouldnāt come back? I canāt make assumptions as I donāt have all the facts. However one fact is certain we were totally ignored and it rubbed me the wrong way. I am going to be hesitant to go back to this Pizza Hut until the racism stops along with the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've tried ordering from this pizza hut 4 different times. Half the time they tell me I'm outside of the service area for delivery when I am within a 4 minute drive of the restaurant, the few times I actually receive my meals they've always forgotten or messed up the order.
I'll ask for a type of bread and they'll give me the wrong type. I'll ask for stuffed crust and I'll get a no cheese pizza. I seriously can't tell if these people are trying to intentionally mess with their customers or if it's just a terrible establishment but UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER should you buy anything but the most basic pepperoni pizza unless you are prepared for heavy mistakes.
Today I decided to write a bad review because I waited 2 hours for my delivery, then another 30 minutes on hold with their automated system since the phone line won't even connect directly to the pizza hut, then finally talked with a manager who put me on hold for another 5 minutes to tell me that my location, literally 4 minutes away from the store is not in their delivery range and they didn't bother to call, email, or text me to let me know that they were incapable of driving 4 minutes to deliver my pizza.
Long story short, their service is awful, their hotline is awful, their accuracy is awful. I still haven't received a refund for this order after talking to several representatives and worse than that it costs me $50 to have my bank back charge the store so it's not even worth the money to get my cash back. I end up losing no matter what and they just get to STEAL my funds.
Do not buy from this pizza hut. Dominos and Little Caesars don't have that pizza hut taste if you are searching for it, but this particular store cannot be relied on.
Drive to Corpus if you want pizza hut. It's that bad...
