I no tenia esquites!!!!
Disappointing Experience at El Kiosko (Porter) I recently visited the El Kiosko location in Porter, TX, driving quite a distance from Northside Houston, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. My order was completely inaccurate, which was especially frustrating after the drive. I ordered esquites with light picante, but they arrived with absolutely no spice at all. Even more concerning was the texture – the esquites were too soft, almost chewy, which was off-putting. I also ordered a los preparados snack, again requesting light picante. This time, they seemed to have completely disregarded my request, adding what tasted like a regular, if not extra, amount of spice. It was far too much. To add to the disappointment, the japones nuts included in the snack tasted stale and not fresh. And it didn’t have the esquites it’s supposed to come with!!!! 😏Overall, the quality of the food was subpar and not at all what I expected. I'm a regular at the El Kiosko location on Harrisburg, which is always on point, and I had hoped this location would be just as good. Sadly, this experience was a major letdown, and I won't be returning to the Porter location. I'll be sticking with the Harrisburg store from now on. It's worth the drive difference to get a consistently...
Read moreTried out this place, an its not bad. Update, came back to try the Torta de Tinga an it was good. Could've used a tad bit of salt, but that is just me. The bread, beans, lettuce everything else on it was good. With the pickled jalapeño on the side was a win for me. For a drink I got a Limonada which I won't be getting again because it wasn't good for my taste. But the Horchata was sensational! I couldn't stop drinking it even though it was my wifes' lol. To wrap it up, I got the Tostada de Moco. People with spiciness sensitivity beware, it's going to burn y'all! Lady taking my order made sure that I was sure of choosing it because it carries a nice kick to it. AND IT DID! Loved every bite an burn that it came with. All in all, excellent place to...
