Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Kingwood

I have nothing positive to say about this Pizza Hut location. This evening just put me over the edge. This particular pizza Hut has never gotten my order completed correctly. On today's order, I ordered hand tossed with mushrooms on half. It was definitely thin and crispy and over baked...along with mushrooms on the entire pizza. I ordered online for the deals only to get there and my pizza is ready but I had to stand and watch as they put my breadsticks in the oven while the employee told me she'd just sit my pizza on the oven while I wait for the breadsticks to bake. But, but, but....she had already gave my breadsticks to someone else instead of their cheesey breadsticks and even called them...so they returned as I stood there and got mine and theirs. It's been a couple months since I was there and nothing has changed so this time I'm complaining...not that anyone there really cares. Oh, and btw, the employees DO NOT WEAR GLOVES WHILE THEY PREPARE YOUR PIZZAS......GROSS. Never again will I give them my business, Fox's Pizza is within 200 yards. Furthermore, the online order was supposed to be $11 and I was charged $12...just another mscrew up by...

Possibly our poorest Pizza Hut experience ever. The only one that can compare is when we were seated at an Ocean City location years ago, our order taken and after a long wait we questioned another server as to the wait to find our server had walked out. As to Kingwood, we placed our order and waited and waited. During the wait we observed a female employee behind the counter with her shirt up rubbing her back. My wife did question if this person was involved in food preparation. She was told no, but if not what was she doing in the kitchen area? We waited some more and finally asked why so long. Our server could offer no plausible reason. She did tell us our pizza was in the oven. At that point we asked for the order be boxed to go. When we got the pizza it was only semi correct. It was to have pepperoni on half. It had it on 3/4. Other than that it was correct.

Pizza hut quality in general has gone downhill however this specific Pizza Hut mind you this is the only location in Preston county manages to go against the overall lack of quality. While the original location was turned into a hotspot where they were originally located and to be honest the original building had more charm behind it. The quality of the food itself has stayed consistent and good. Seating is a little small but given this is a small country town it makes sense. This is the only pizza hut in Preston county and with the general consensus that Pizza Hut is terrible now I feel like this specific location is a rare gem at providing good food...
