I’ve ate at the Kingwood Burger King around three times in total. Twice going through the drive through, another time I picked up takeout from inside. The first two times I went through the drive through, I couldn’t figure out how my order would be repeated back to me perfectly, but somehow always be wrong. After going inside the third time, it started to make sense. Upon going inside, you’ll discover the vast majority of their staff are high school girls. These girls talked, played, and giggled while people were lined up waiting for their orders to be taken. The entire restaurant was filled and by the time we got our food, almost an hour had gone by. Once we arrived home, we had discovered that our food was not only missing items, but also incorrect. While inside, I also noticed the manager who seemed increasingly frustrated with her staff for taking their jobs so non-serious and so inconsiderate of their customers. However, I understand that there are learning curves and no one is perfect. That being said, I have not been back since so all of this could’ve been fixed by now. The management seems alright, so if you’re missing something, don’t ask the workers to fix it, ask for a manger. I say this because even if you ask them to fix it, they’re still going to make it wrong. It almost feels deliberate once it’s happened so many times. Another thing I recall is when asking to modify anything such as a sandwhich, like asking for “no lettuce”, or “no pickles”, they say “alright”, but never actually bother to take it off. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t know how, or sheer laziness, but that was one of the biggest pet peeves for me. Other than that, their food is great. Came back after a horrible experience of one of the workers literally throwing orders at customers, being a smart ass to polite customers, and incorrect orders. I get that fast food isn't a fun job, and I never expect someone to be excited to take my order. But general decency is the bare minimum. I decided to try this place again, it was already on my route and easiest. My drink was only half filled, and when I noticed, the man at the window said, "Well whats the problem, did it stop too soon or what?" I mentioned that it was only half filled, but didn't want to waste more time arguing or waiting for another drink. Of course, it was nothing but carbonation and was nasty.
