New China Restaurant — Restaurant in Kingwood

WOW! SO UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!! I couldn't believe how good it was. We got the black pepper chicken and took a bite of it in the car just to try it and we ended up eating it before we even got home. So we went back and realized they had a lunch buffet and filled up a whole container for $6.30. The lunch buffet is super cheap and they had such a variety. Now that I know we will be going here often.

Updated to July 30th 2023. Stopped in with my son for dinner. Food is amazing. And I'm a very picky person when it comes to food quality. How can food be dry and wet at the same time. They had steak strips labeled steak sitting in almost clear water that was all discolored. The rest of the food was wet as well, like super soggy and dried out at the same time. I saw the boy bring out some fresh broccoli and beef, and that's what I ate almost exclusively. It was bland at best, but with salt and pepper, it was better. The waitstaff did keep our waters filled, which was nice. The fried rice was orange like it was dyed to look fried. New China Restaurant is under new management. The food @ this restaurant is actually VERY GOOD. I have eaten @ this restaurant MANY times. Although I have served myself from the dishes in the buffet, I honestly believe I get the best value for my money by ordering from the menu. Besides, the menu has a MUCH LARGER selection than the buffet has.
