I came here today, 6-21-21, and ordered a 10 puece nugget meal, 6 mcdoubles with no onions, 6 apple pies and one large tea with light ice. I placed the order at 6:01, according to my receipt. I paid, pulled to the 2nd window, received the teas, and was asked to pull up to the line. After waiting for 15 minutes, in the heat, an employee comes out and says it will be another 4 minutes on the apple pies. I stated that i didn't want to wait and would like a refund on the pies and to receive the rest of my order. A few minutes later, another employee comes out and asks if I had pies, and I stated that I did, but didn't want to wait and wanted a refund. She goes inside, comes back out and asks what I paid with and then asks for my card. She comes back with it and the new receipt. Then my food finally gets brought out. The time now was 6:24. Otw home, I noticed my fries were cold, but was just going to go home. When I got there, I saw that they didn't give me the 10 piece nugget that I ordered. So, I then had to go back, and go inside to get them and I received a hot large fry. This service was ridiculous! At least 6 other cars got their orders after I placed mine, and they weren't busy at all. The manager was pleasant abt my missing food, but, that doesn't excuse...
Read moreWhen I pulled into McDonald's in Kinston, I thought I was just grabbing a quick bite. Little did I know I was stepping into a fast-food utopia. The golden arches must have magical powers because the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a staff that could moonlight as motivational speakers. The energy was contagious!
I ordered a Big Mac Meal, and let me tell you, it wasn’t just a sandwich—it was a masterpiece. The lettuce was crisp, the sauce was tangy perfection, and those sesame seeds on the bun? Sprinkled on there by what I can only assume was a divine hand. The fries were so golden and perfectly salted that I almost proposed to the fry cook right then and there.
And let’s talk about the soda machine—it’s like a Willy Wonka factory for carbonated dreams. I made a Sprite-Fanta-Coke concoction that could probably win awards at beverage competitions.
The drive-thru? It was smoother than a Sunday morning gospel choir. I didn’t even have time to finish my car karaoke session before my food was ready. Speed, efficiency, and smiles—what more could you ask for?

Read moreSo McDonalds food is always a 3, and there's that. You can't ever really say it's bad, even if I personally can't ever say it's great, but I eat fancy stuff and also I'm nobody! I like this new feature that lets you give a five for service because this has always been an overall pretty chill Mickey D's. I think they take care of the crew here so they are at least really good at pretending they want to be here. Which is great you know because I'm all about a generally chill experience too even if it's, you know, McDonalds. I do my best to not order crazy weird stuff so everyone can keep it moving you know? Things go as McDonald's polished as you can expect, the overall experience is pleasant, and the franchisee in particular really takes care of this location with the landscapes and such. They don't all get the fancy gardens you know. This is not the best McDonalds ever, but it's certainly not the worst by a very long mark, and provides the McDonalds experience you are expecting from the McDonalds Menu. Just over all a suburban McDonalds type of McDonalds, you know...
