I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had at your San Antonio Dairy Queen location. My most recent visit was nothing short of a complete letdown.
The incident occurred at the drive-thru, where I attempted to place my order. From the very beginning, the service was atrocious. The employee, a young girl, was incredibly rude and seemed disinterested in assisting me. Her tone was curt, and she didn't even bother to greet me properly. Instead, I was met with an unfriendly attitude that made me feel like I was bothering her by simply being there.
To make matters worse, the employee inexplicably muted herself for minutes on end, leaving me waiting in my car without any communication. It was as if I was invisible, and my order was of no importance to her. I repeatedly tried to get her attention, but she ignored my attempts as if they were an inconvenience to her. This lack of responsiveness was not only frustrating but also disrespectful to a paying customer.
As someone who values good customer service, I found this experience deeply disheartening. Dairy Queen has always been known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, but this visit was a stark contrast to that reputation. It left me questioning whether my patronage and loyalty were valued at all.
I understand that everyone has bad days, but the level of unprofessionalism displayed during my visit was completely unacceptable. Customers should never be treated in such a dismissive manner, regardless of the circumstances. I believe in giving feedback in the hopes that it will lead to improvement, and I genuinely hope that this incident serves as an opportunity for your team to address these issues.

Read moreToday at 7 pm Ordered 3 large blizzards. Had to repeat myself to the woman 3 times. She got mad because she wasn't hearing me as I was speaking loud and clear. I guess she then thought it would be funny to purposely mess up every single blizzard she made us. Not a single one was correct. I ordered: 1 Large blizzard: Cookie dough and Reese's peanut butter cup 1 Large blizzard: cookie dough and Oreo And 1 peanut butter puppy chow.
What I got was 1 Large KitKat blueberry tasing bs. A cookie dough and brownie And one Oreo and peanut butter cup. Absolutely garbage. No way she misheard after I repeated it 3 times and made myself clear. Don't even want this trash anymore. Terrible service. Garbage person who thinks it's funny to mess people's orders up.
To add insult to injury. I called to speak with the manager. The same girl who messed my order up answered. She said yes to speaking to manager then just set the phone down and left it off the hook so it's a busy tone and you can't call back. Absolute trash worker. She does not deserve to have any kind of job.
Update: manager on duty absolutely refused to replace my blizzards with the correct ones. She didn't understand the concept that money is time. I had to drive back and waste gas for absolutely no reason just for her to refuse to make it right. Absolutely awful customer service all the way around. Even papa johns knows better. If you call them and tell them they delivered you the wrong pizza, they will send a driver to deliver another one free of charge and even no delivery charge but they can't replace some ice cream? Read moreBeing a customer at this location is by far the best experience/quality I have found in years. The food is always HOT without fail. Every. Single. Time. The blizzards are always solid and correct. The service is outstanding. The people working are in constant motion and are not complaining but rather have a smile on their faces. Very respectful when interacting with other coworkers as well as customers.
I went through the drive thru tonight while it was extremely busy. Every employee was working, including the manager. When I finally was able to order, Bianca was nice, polite, and showed the utmost respect and care in taking my order. She clarified the order and never once spoke out of turn. To top it off, she rang up the order correctly and was pleasant even in the hectic atmosphere of the moment. It says a lot when a young person shows that level of maturity. I spoke to Blanca (the MOD) and received the same service. It appears that she leads by example. What a rewarding experience as I had just recently this week visited another location (410/Jackson Keller) where I received a complete opposite experience.
I will continue to be a customer at this location. Honestly, they have set the bar so high, I am not sure another location could even compete.
