La Parrillada — Restaurant in Kirby

Esta mañana, sábado 7 de diciembre, visité LA Parrillada para desayunar y tuve una de las peores experiencias gastronómicas que he tenido. Llegamos a las 10:10 y poco después hicimos nuestro pedido. Hay un cartel en el frente que indica que las ofertas especiales de desayuno tienen un precio más económico entre las 7 y las 11 a.m. Sin embargo, a pesar de llegar dentro del horario de desayuno, la mesera, que tenía un tatuaje de la Virgen María en el brazo derecho, me informó que no era elegible para el descuento porque pagué después de las 11 a.m. Es completamente irrazonable penalizar a los clientes por la ineficiencia del restaurante. Mi comida no llegó hasta las 11, y cuando pagué (a las 11:20 o 11:30), me dijeron que tenía que pagar el precio completo. ¿Cómo es esta feria cuando ordené y me sentaron durante el horario especial del desayuno? En ninguna parte del cartel se indica que los clientes deben pagar antes de las 11 a.m. para recibir el descuento. Esta política deshonesta y mal comunicada es inaceptable. El hecho de que me vi obligado a pagar más por su lento servicio es ridículo. Además de eso, el comportamiento del camarero era inquietante: se movía frenéticamente y se apresuraba como si estuviera en algo, lo que no inspiraba ninguna confianza en el servicio. Esta fue la primera y última vez que cené aquí. Nunca volveré a LA Parrillada, y recomiendo encarecidamente que otros también lo eviten a menos que les guste que les cobren de más y reciban un servicio deficiente.

This morning, Saturday, December 7th, I visited LA Parrillada for breakfast and had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve encountered. We arrived at 10:10 AM and placed our order shortly after. There is a sign at the front stating that breakfast specials are priced cheaper between 7 and 11 AM. However, despite arriving well within the breakfast hours, the server—who had a Virgin Mary tattoo on her right arm—informed me I was not eligible for the discount because I paid after 11 AM.

It is completely unreasonable to penalize customers for the restaurant's inefficiency. My food didn’t arrive until around 11, and by the time I paid (at 11:20 or 11:30), I was told I had to pay the full price. How is this fair when I ordered and was seated during the breakfast special time? Nowhere on the sign does it state that customers must pay before 11 AM to receive the discount.

This dishonest and poorly communicated policy is unacceptable. The fact that I was forced to pay extra because of their slow service is ridiculous. On top of that, the server’s demeanor was unsettling—moving frantically and rushing as if she was on something, which did not inspire any confidence in the service.

This was my first and last time dining here. I will never return to LA Parrillada, and I strongly recommend others avoid it too unless they enjoy being overcharged and receiving...

I've been coming here for years. Even when I moved away and visited, I returned here. My mom loves the food here. They also have daily specials which we enjoy. They sell a fish special on Friday for those celebrating lent. The food in my opinion is excellent for the value you pay. And the staff has always been one of the friendliest restaurants I've been to. The parking is a bit tight and the inside should be bigger, for as great as the service and food served. They renovated the inside. It's very relaxing and they have a TV if you choose to watch while eating. This place has so much more...

The building looks older from the outside but thats even better because that means they’ve been is business for a long time. So don’t let that stop you from enjoying there food. Walked in and was immediately greeted. Was able to sit anywhere. Very clean and fresh, tables were spaced out and not squished together. Waiters are super nice, very attentive, they are bilingual as well. Coffee was great 😌 food was even better and not so expensive. Absolutely loved my experience here and felt safe, almost like home. This restaurant is definitely my go to for morning breakfast now. Absolutely...
