There were 2 cashiers. The Male cashier was asking everyone to get in line with the female cashier. Mind you there were 8 people in line with the female already and he was literally just standing by his register waiting for a lady. Maybe she was doing a return and possibly looking for the item she was exchanging, but he could have helped the female ring up half of the people while he was just standing there doing nothing. As with every store, the corporation places way too much merchandise, it's overwhelming. I feel sorry for the employee's who work for this company. I gave 4 ⭐'s because of the employees really do try their best to provide a service given their employers workplace. I see why there's such a high turnover, it's obvious. They need to do better for their employees & customers need to be more patient & understanding. Overall Dollar General gets a - 5 ⭐'s from me. Shopping there is a nightmare, unorganized & unpleasant. I always stop here for non-food essentials on the way home as it's much faster and easier than running in HEB! They have a good selection of different kinds of products, more than you'd expect and also carry a selection of wine.
